I love how every second comment here is declaring their love for this, I really hope it gets the success it deserves!

yes you can see how much effort they put into f.e. the fights, genuinely entertaining sequences, how they used their quirks, the scenes of them using/activating/training their skills, they don't feel like some forced-must-go-through plot devices but rather sitting with them and enjoying them

If you're familiar with shonen romance yes, where every scene between the characters means sth and is gushable

I mentioned here that stories stories don't need to have a "never seen before concept" but rather do the work well with their own touch and creativity, and this shows really knew what it was going to be and delivered. It didn't try to convince you solely on how serious or complex the story was and let that carry the show but it knew how to properly use all the elements: villains come and go after they're used up and don't annoy too much, the characters are loveable and you root for them, the comedy is top-notch and the fights are so enjoyable seriously the fights were so creative and entertaining and I'm someone who usually gets annoyed by fights and skips them but here I ate them up

I'm afraid I'll always have a soft spot for the ML actor because he reminds me of a real life Sasuke yes Ik how unserious that sounds but Idc

oh and ALSO I love how the kiss scene was actually relevant to the plot, I loved him doing that knowing it would get her flustered and out of the danger and also how they reused it as a plot device later with her remembering it again to fuel herself, that was such good writing

"give him something more coplex" why do people make those arguments? why should we imagine him playing a different character when is playing this character well? that makes no sense and is not the gotcha people think it is. He plays characters that he can play well.

Idk why anyone is complaining, he played his character well? He doesn't have to be some grande oscar-level actor, he did his job well? You might wanna argue he couldn't do a "more serious or tragic character" but that wasn't the assignment here at all?

I was hoping hallucination girl was gonna do a Mai from ATLA LOL but her just going and trying to kill ML was boring on her arc (but the sequence was good: you didn't sit too long with the dread of what the guy was gonna do with the metal rod or what she was planning)

This was me watching it but too afraid to come here and gush over it so I wouldn't get spoilered.

Coming here after finishing it: LOVED it, I absolutely loved this! I haven't loved a kdrama like this in years. When I was first read news of this I was like "sounds like some nonsense, why would the actress chose this script" but omg I can't believe how good this show was!
I loved how it was able to keep the flow up right until the end, I barely ever skipped! I loved how they integrated their powers/quirks, and I really mean all the scenes of them training or fighting (especially the final fight) were never dull and they always found a hilarious and logical way to make use of their skills (how they made even sticky hands useful in the final fight!). (The scene of the gravity guy trying to kill strength guy and them ending up with the clapping sequence, I was ROFL, or the scene when we see how caffeine affects FL, absolutely hilariously and creatively shot. ALSO on that topic: that caffeine jelly brand hit a gold mile with their product being integrated to the plot like this, really smart move of marketing team).

I do think there is some plot hole in terms of how the ML is gonna survive now/why he is fine? And the plot with him betraying FL the aftermath was written weakly because last time we see FL there is a sense of urgency and dread meanwhile we're spending half of the next episode of them gathering together and forming a plan, logically by that time she would have been already dead but it was nothing that ruined the story or was bothering too much.

All in all, this was genuinely such a delight and joy to sit through, I forgot what being absorbed and enamored with a story felt like! You can tell people really put a lot of good work and effort into it.

Finished episode 1, I laughed so much, the humour was very well done! And the episode was really good, the type of storytelling where you forget time

The point is that stanning is undignified behaviour and even if you did need the 100$, she wouldn't give it to you but you're gushing over her and giving her the most valuable thing in your life (your time).
