I'm about halfway trough this. At this point I can positively say I am only staying for 2 reasons: 1. Billy/Neua. I came here from the Sign and I really like Billy, he is so talented and handsome. I didn't want to watch this at first, after I saw the trailer, but then I had a scene from this drama with Billy on my fyp and he looked so fine that I decided to give it a try anyway. And Billy doesn't disappoint! I hope I can see him in many more series. 2. Jao and Sky. They are the saving grace of this series. I love their interactions and I am seriously hyped about this pairing. At first I didn't even realise that Jao is played by the same actor that did Singh in the Sign, I was kind of sad that I didn't see him there until I found out lol That made me really happy, and I need to rewatch the Sign and pay him more attention. Another big surprise was Heng. I didn't like his characters in Gap or the Sign, since they both were (kind of) villains. I didn't expect to like him so much in a more romantic setting. I hope we get them in this pairing again and this time as leads? That would be great. Let's see what CEO Saint has coming for us in the future. Honorable mention: my fast forward button. He is getting abused a lot when Toh is on the screen. I am sorry, but I don't like this character. He is the king of cringe, I read somewhere, that if cringe had a face, it would be Toh, and I have to agree. I am ok with the secret crush and him taking pictures in secret (since he is not doing it to harm Neua and he is not a bad guy) and also collecting things your crush used or touched or given you is still ok, because I guess most of us have done this before. But he is taking it to another level entirely (the amount of pictures and things he collected is insane), and most of the time I'm really weirded out by it. Especially when he collected the food, these things rot! Or when he sniffed the things he collected. Ew. Even trash that Neua only touched for like a second to help the cleaning lady. It's too much along with the way his character is written. I have to give Seng a lot of respect that he was able to act this really akward and wacky character without giving in to the urge to run away screaming. Another good point speaking for this drama is the good production value, they are really putting a lot into it, and the other side characters. Their friendship groups are awesome and supportive.
I just started this series, loving it so far. Film and Tongtong look so much alike!! For a moment I thought they have to be brothers in real life too ๐ I love their bond as brothers, it's something I really like in dramas: siblings loving and supporting each other.
I love this drama. I am obsessed with it so much, I can't stop rewatching. I really, really like it. It became one of my favourite bls. Sadly, though, when they kissed they looked a bit uncomfortable, or maybe they were just shy? If it really was that hard for them, they should have only made it look like they kissed with a better positioning of the camera angles, or not have them kiss at all. They had enough chemistry otherwise to pull that off. Because their hugs were the best. Have them hug all the time instead of kissing. The overall story was great and I also fell in love with the webtoon, that gives us a bit more information about those two, that couldn't be shown in the series and shows how their story continued. It is really cute and touching. The actors made the characters come to life as they were supposed to be. Good job!
That's it? Where is the reunion with Grandma and Yai? ๐ฅน But at least they can be together now. โค๏ธ Hopefully they release the special episode for everyone soon.
I have a question to episode 11: How did Tharn use that yellow magic that saved Phaya and then transported Tharn to Phaya? Or did his naga sister help him? I'm confused... or will they explain that in the last episode?
Qin He Bo and Fu Shuang Shuang are sooooooooo cute! They are so innocent with each other. I mean we know that Qin He Bo is everything but innocent when it comes to business (though I can't tell to what degree, since I'm only at ep 10 for now) but when he is with her he becomes a teenage boy in love. I'm living for it and shipping it even harder.
I think it's good but also draggy and a bit ridiculous in the last few episodes... In comparison, I definitely liked My dear Gangster Oppa better (same main leads). I liked their characters there, but in this series I can't seem to connect with them a lot, especially Nhai... I have never liked confused and oblivious characters, that's personal preference though. But I can say as much that Ping did a good job portraying Nhai. Meen as Ai was good too. Their acting got a lot better between the two dramas, which shows they are not yet at the end of their acting journey and they still have room to grow and get better. I'm looking forward to it! I really liked Porsch and Arm! I hope they get casted together more often! Overall I think the script could have been better, but everything else was good, just don't get into it with high expectations.
He overheard Tharn and Yai talked about it in either ep 4 or 5
Thank you! I rewatched the episode and remembered seeing him listening in on them. But Phaya and Tharn never actually talked about it in certain terms, he just suddenly started talking about his visions. I think that's why I got confused. ๐ Thanks you two for helping me! ๐ฅฐโค๏ธ
I'm currently on ep 7 of this series and I feel like I missed something: when did Tharn tell Phaya about his visions? He suddenly knew about them? When did Tharn tell him? I can't seem to remember a scene where they talked about it. Can someone please help and tell me, so I can go back to it? ๐
I agree... what's actually Yuras purpose other than bringing more unnecessary drama into the series? She is so…
Exactly, I was expecting her to turn up at the hospital to make a scene with Ji Won and Grandpa but she didn't... I guess her greed for Ji Hyuk is not enough to care about him dying or not. Judging from her behaviour and how her character is written, it's actually strange that she didn't use it for her advantage... I'm glad that she didn't turn up though.๐
So I am catching up finally, was a bit behind and only on episode 13 right now. First of all, I don't particularly…
I agree... what's actually Yuras purpose other than bringing more unnecessary drama into the series? She is so completely unhinged and crazy. If she is so obsessed with Ji Hyuks family and money she should marry the Grandpa, they like each other. He is also on my ๐ฉ list, saying he wants what's best for Ji Hyuk but forces that lunatic on him.
I did like this a lot, but it felt kind of unfinished... in the end, even though they talked more than at the beginning, there was still a lot of things they didn't talk about. For example I was waiting for Mizuki to find out Megane-kun is actually Kanami-sans husband lol but there were a lot of other things that imo needed to be made clear between them, but they just ended it before they could? Which made me a bit sad, because it feels like there is at least one episode missing to make it perfect. Acting was on point!
