I would like to see his performance-based repertoire. If I had to choose a favourite role of his, I liked his acting in "One and Only" whereas "The Double" wasn't much of a stretch even if he was very charismatic. I'm primarily curious about his ability to emote because I'd like to see where he stands amongst fellow actors such as Zhang Yishan, Luo Jin, Elvis Han Dong Jun, Ou Hao and Wang Duo. He's significantly younger than them. A drama like this will be interesting for me to see how he works alongside Wang Qianyuan.

He isn't disturbed by whether she is his enemy or not because if her blood brother and father are truly dead, she's a sitting duck to him because he knows she will have to depend on Xia Jingyan and Xiyang has no warrior skills. Xia Jingshi is going to kill Xia Jingyan, so it makes no difference if there's one more casualty. He might reconsider if Feng Suige is alive and the Emperor of Susha. Otherwise nothing stops him from offing Xiyang who btw, insisted on him marrying her because he spared and helped her that one time, molested him, insulted him, insulted the woman he loves and wants to marry, and now wants to help his worst abuser kill him only because he was too honest and consistent with her about not loving her. From his perspective, understandably she is an over-entitled pain in the ass.

And although I pity Xiyang resorting to using her wiles on the Emperor so she can avenge her brother and father (she doesn't know Feng Suige is alive), she will deserve Xia Jingshi teaching her a lesson. The question is whether she will survive or not.

The thing with BTS or Reuters is that depending on where someone is from, they might not be able to access certain links. Xiaohongshu is impossible for many people. Technically, this drama and this power couple ended in episode 1 or episode 28 or episode- (take your pick of issues related to cliff versus pit). Artistically and realistically, too many of us are too invested to give a damn about those gaping flaws the size of Pluto and Alaska XD

Whether this drama is more than 20 episodes or less than 20 episodes, I hope the end results will be superb. Have you watched "Beneath The Undertow" yet?

"Those Flowers" is a female-centric Light On not-yet-aired series of 12 episodes starring Wu Jinyan and the underrated Jiang Shuying who had roles such as Empress Cao in "Serenade of Peaceful Joy". Liang Yongqi is also in it. The list of guest roles also looks good.

1) Episode 29 was full of heart. Xueying wanting to help Ning Fei, Yixiao wanting to save Suige, Xiyang mourning her father and brother and finally deciding to take action. And hopefully that song which keeps playing whenever she bawls will get a rest for at least three episodes, because it is driving me nuts.

2) The lines by Yixiao to Elder Lei reminds him of Wei Qingyu, and the scenes conveying those words from two generals past and present were so touching that dust got into my eyes again. Speaking of more than dust in eyes, Emperor Xia Jingyan has already started to fall for Xiyang (in the words of Qin Tianyu in the interview above), which is why he found himself thinking of Xiyang and then throws a tantrum yelling for everyone to get out. Slaps, a knife and blood will do the trick. All the best, Xiyang. As to what you've gotten yourself into, with Xia Jingyan- But you should not underestimate your ex-husband. You publicly gloat too much in advance, while he prefers to succeed and then celebrate. And his trap is almost ready to spring shut, just like the time he nearly killed Feng Suige until Fu Yixiao's arrow accidentally saved the troops of Susha Kingdom.

2) Sa Dingding at last! Hilarious as Immortal Yuan Ji in "Ashes of Love", her cameo as poison-expert Lady An is just as funny. Physician Ling and Lady An are adorable together and need to get drunk together, after this entire mess is resolved. Maybe we could have a bonus episode just for them?

3) 8 episodes left. Resolving amnesia, taking revenge on the Murong clan and Dowager Empress Zhuang, and saving Xiyang- How is this going to work out?

4) Not thinking about the medicine or medical aspects of these two episodes. Tired from yesterday's plotholes in episode 28 which were temporarily suspended, because episode 28 was too intense and I ate too much ice-cream after that.

5) Reddit thread discussions for episodes 25 to 28 have each broken more than 350 comments. My only complaint is not enough GIFs.

It is a HK martial arts action film when stars did their own stunts, because some of the stars such as Jet Li and Vincent Zhao Wenzhuo could actually fight. At least one actress in there can fight. Yesterday what I sadly predicted is about to come true for drama-Xiyang: Her redemption arc is truly becoming a Feng, after believing she no longer has a family and is at the mercy of two brothers in a foreign country, and on a vengeance kick to bring down those who killed her blood family. After all, between a heartless stone and a lunatic who isn't heartless, which one would you pick to try to use?

The moment Xiyang officially allies herself with Xia Jingyan (be it marriage or a pregnancy), Xia Jingshi will be justified in killing Xiyang since Xia Jingshi wants the throne. Novel-Xia Jingshi was the rightful heir to the throne while wielding the military power of Jinxiu. Drama-Xia Jingshi also wields the military power but I don't know if they will keep that part about him being the rightful heir whose parents were murdered.

If anyone tries to harm Xiyang, Feng Suige will go all out to avenge anyone who murders or tries to murder her, with Yixiao by his side. I believe he has to sort out the mayhem in Susha first, so now I'm a bit nervous as to how this will all work out properly within 10 episodes.

Based on episode 30 previews, she's about to start her I-have-nothing-left-to-lose-since-my-brother-and-father-are-dead-and-I-will-avenge-them arc, so... She's going to pick the only option left to her when stuck in a foreign kingdom between a heartless stone and a lunatic she might be able to use.

If Xia Jingshi does anything to Xiyang such as attempted murder or actual murder, Feng Suige will avenge her. Feng Suige will have his men, Yixiao and most likely Ning Fei along.

Since Xiyang believes her brother and father are dead due to the Zhuangs and she must do what she can to avenge them while having nothing as leverage at this point, she now seems determined to use the Emperor of Jinxiu. Girl has nothing to lose. She doesn't enjoy kissing him, as seen from the previews. Becoming his primary wife and bearing his child would be the only way out. She is fixated on her brother and father being dead, and wanting to know who their murderers are. By this point, I believe her wanting Xia Jingshi dead might take a secondary backseat unless the Emperor of Jinxiu manages to make her believe Xia Jingshi is responsible for this.

If Xiyang marries Xia Jingyan, then Xia Jingshi is justified in killing her if he is to take the throne.
