ML was extremely abusive towards the FL like how can you turn to lovers after being mistreated so poorly?? Then for writers to make FL willingly go to get abused and enter herself deeper into strife.
Yes we understand his tragic past but doesn't excuse his actions. None of these men should get her and she should just go do her own thing and become her own freedom fighter.
Sorry but this drama sends a negative message and was uncomfortable to watch so I had to just drop at episode 10. Including too much plot holes. It's a shame as the rating was high, all leads were attractive and great at their role, costume was good, even the action.
Not bad, loved the intimate scenes and the cast, acting and the plot.
The only unfortunate thing about this drama was the breakup and how the FL was written in that situation. I blame this on script error and plot malfunction/ not the characters. It was awful and brought the score of the drama down for me as it was just unnecessary and too illogical and dramatized. Also continued to ostracized the ML even though he technically hadn't done anything wrong especially not from a business perspective. I do agree though since it was directly related to her company, he should have discussed it with her prior. That was his wrong, a wrong that he apologized for and should have ended after a simply discussion with one another. Based on both their personalities.
The FL also had listened to a nemesis who was out to get her since Day 1, makes no sense to believe an enemies words to this extinct that you verbally insulted your partner. After for ML to do so much and being villainized when it wasn't his fault but rather the FL's immaturity level and understanding which were low at the time. I had to skip that whole breakup arc.
Nonetheless..--other than that. This drama was a good watch, and others should watch it and give it a shot.

Oh you are completely right and I hundred percent agree if we are are analyzing in a literary perspective, it is poetic. It's sad but brings relief and happiness now that they have finally escaped their oppression.

WHAT A GOOD SERIES... with a shitty end and ending. A real shame. Great acting, great music, great action and comedy and this is what they did with it? ... :/ Ruined what could of been a near masterpiece .
This would have been a 9.5 or 10, if they changed the ending and the end of the drama. Otherwise its 6.5, 7.0 if I want to be generous.
Though I loved the small 2.5 sec we get of the couple at the end. Sigh :/
Not gonna lie, I was disliking it at first due immaturity and unlikeable as well as problematic side characters. But the more you watch; the middle and end did it justice. The skating portions was done beautifully, competitions and BG music were intense and on point. Romance turned out so well and mature despite the childish beginning. Glad I continued. Wish there was a season 2, we need more sport shows like this. I think I've watched all the good ones ;-;
I made it to episode 3 and unfortunately will have to drop. I think the ML and FL's relation is disturbing because of the relationship dynamic that connects them, amongst other things I noticed in the drama itself. So far my favorite character had been Sima Yi.
No.. This drama was amazing. Jeez, I just finished it and wanted to rewatch it right after. All 3 male leads could have ended up with her and it would have still been just as amazing as it is now, that's how well written they were. From the OST, to the acting to the plot. WOW! Contains love, friendship, comedy, mystery ! A very nice balance and no overtly extreme or annoying characters.
This rating is WAAAAY too over the top for this drama. It's a shame because the concept of the show itself is awesome, the ML and FL looked so good together and chemistry went even better especially in the beginning. But the editing was botchy, and rushed throughout the entire series. And it really went downhill once they entered the palace, then it was unnecessary misunderstandings and miscommunication among what was suppose to be intelligent characters. The Main leads onwards barely even had any screen time and only began to resolve their problems in the last 10 episodes. There were lots of plot holes, the characters traits were inconsistent, and a lot of toxic concepts as well awful triggers that were overlooked and even romanticized. The only actual good episode was the LAST episode.
Sigh, if I am to find another drama with the same leads, hopefully it is better than this. It had so much potential...

I'm on episode 1 and seriously annoyed at her. And you've perfectly pin pointed why. It's a shame too because I really like the other chars and the plot. She'll def be the reason why I rate this drama a little lower.
