This was actually very good despite the ratings. It's slow paced, touching on more depressive topics, talks about friendship, love and family. If you're not into that, then this ain't for you but this deserves a way better rating.
Y'all are haters fr. Hop off his page, this was unnecessary --If you didn't like him, why come on his page specifically. And his acting is extremely amazing, take your sour and miserable company elsewhere smh.
No.....this has be in the top. A masterpiece, the intensity and passion of the story, actors and everything made me awestruck. The writing was unbelievably amazing, I want to rewatch it again, but it is so heart wrenching and...bittersweet.
As much as the king loved her, he was still the king, the ruler of the nation and parent of the kingdom and as much as she loved the king... she had herself; her friends; and wanted the freedom of living as she wanted. I don't think this drama... will ever leave me, I will always remember this.
Extremely in love and completely saddened with its grief.
I love their love...but I also had parts of myself that hated their love.
This is truly a masterpiece.... even after days of finishing it, I am still wondering about it. Character development was so precise and done beautifully.. Can't even explain, Betty Sun is such a extraordinary actress... my god. That also goes for the acting in the drama... Give it a try, you will not regret.

I'm sorry but this was a 6.5/10 or a 7 MAX. Don't get me wrong, it was still a good drama because of its great acting, OST, costumes and more but it was lacking in many other things such as character development of the female protagonist, immaturity with their relationship, As well as annoying repetition of the status of the main protagonists. On and off. Hot and cold.
The beginning of this drama and especially the ENDING made it everything.
Asking for spoilers: who’s the secondary couple? Is there a love triangle? Happy ending? For all the couples?
Secondary couple won't be revealed until later but its between Zhan Bei Ye nd the other main female. I mean there are other candidates but I assure they don't mean a damn thing to the protagonists. Happy ending. Yes all couples I would say.
Loved everything from the chemistry of the protagonists to acting, and story. The only downfall is the how rushed unsatisfying the ending was. Otherwise, I liked how it ended just how it was done... was eh.
This was not as great as I assumed it would be. It did start out well for me, found it amusing --cute and funny but quickly became irritating and annoying with the constant back nd forth.
This started so well, and I liked how unique it was from other dramas. The side couples were really nice to explore as well. (The tall girl was my fave! So badass) The characters, the cast, the acting, the pace and plot were good.
What pissed me off was the last two episodes where Jiho did something so unnecessary and so manipulative that it really ruined this show for me. Idk how people can justify what she did as poetic and rightful.
It was dragged and I felt so horrible for Se Hee and was so annoyed that Jiho CONTINUED! As if to make him suffer to her will. Instead of being mature and communicating, she actually freaking lies to him, leaves him (w/o talking it out) to test out if he really loved her or not. So disgusting. When prior to seeing his reaction (him being drunk and etc).
I was SO annoyed that I skipped through the last episode :| so disappointed in this drama.
Honestly, took so much points off of it for that reason. It could have been my favorite, was going to rate it 8.5 or 9/10. But nope, the writers screwed up big time with that scenario.
I'm forcing myself to give this an 8... but I can't even do that... --Not even worth rewatching ever.
I had hesitated but BOY am I glad I watched it. The plot was very interesting to say the least, sure it might of had a few plot holes but what doesn't? The pacing was right on point, the acting was right on fucking point (except some of the crying scenes via main female actress)
Loved the comedy relief here and there!
The chemistry was alright which wasn't too overwhelming or to stagnant. Though I think it was just another factor of the story that flowed well together.
Sure there was some flaws but nothing to big, nothing that could stop me from having a good experience with this drama!

It was hilarious, heart-warming, and just soooo good. There's no way you can hate this drama full of so much diverse genre.
Also really liked Ma ya's character. She was hilarious.
Don't make the same mistake as me. This was just one of the best!
