Oh yes, she feels trapped and definitely suffering from depression. Maybe even that brother of hers too.

I think it’s the note when she wrote her dream is to go to Yihe University but she crossed it out after she returned from the airport and misunderstood his boss for the girlfriend.

I love Yang Yang so much (especially in You Are My Glory) that I’m going to stick with this but the FL better step it up. She’s starting to bore me. It’s a bit sad…she’s like a walking, lost ghost. She shows no passion for her career, no real passion or emotions for the ML (except drunk talking), no passion for life. I guess it’s comparable to a wall at this point so hopefully we get more 😑

Haha yes she uses the same child-like tone throughout the drama. Maybe some people think her tone is different or more mature becuase she’s grown up and doesn’t act like a kid but it’s still the same tone.

Agree…I’ve watched her dramas and she does use a childish voice but in interviews she doesn’t use that tone. I do think she’s a very good actress. Her eyes are very expressive and she has great chemistry with other actors.

I couldn’t agree more! I’m so frustrated with the FL. If she doesn’t know what she wants then leave the ML alone until she figures it out. While drunk talking she said he’s made no effort and the next morning when he goes to her apartment and tells her he’ll shoulder everything if she decides to be with him but she doesn’t say or do anything! Just stands there like an idiot then he wake out. I’m so annoyed.

Also, maybe I’m a romantic but the fire fighter scenes bore me.

This may be an unpopular opinion but I’m so frustrated with the FL (I get her upbringing and strict adoptive family bla bla bla) but no wonder ML has made no effort…he knows better because there’s no point! 10 years later and she’s grown up and a surgeon now but still has no backbone. Still can’t decide what she wants and still stringing him along.

And yes…I understand why she’s the way she is but it’s still frustrating!
