I just finished this drama and I love it although the storyline is simple. The writers did a beautiful job transitioning their relationship from a one-sided childhood secret crush to a deep love of mutual caring and respect. There is nothing these two wouldn’t do for the other. Sang Zhi’s love for Duan Jiaxu is unwavering and that’s what sets this drama apart from others. She may be young but she’s brave and resolute in her feelings for him. Their chemistry was on fire…beautiful acting from both leads.

I was wondering how the writers transitioned their relationship into a romantic one. I’m on episode 7 and she obviously had a crush on him…maybe even starting from when she first met him but he doesn't have romantic feelings for her at this point.
I’m on episode 3 and she obviously has a crush on him and is infatuated with him but he sees her like a little sister. I wonder how this will develop into love.
She was adopted but also I think she wants her achievements to be hers alone. There’s a prejudice against her at the hospital because they think she got where she’s at because of her family’s backing.
I can’t wait to see a different side of Song Yan. Poor baby has abandonment issues and has put up walls. I’m looking forward to when he acknowledges his feelings for her and becomes vulnerable. Can’t wait to see a softer side of him and see him in love.
