Let me first say I love both the leads but I was a little disappointed in this drama. It was kind of slow and there wasn’t much character development. The storyline kind of dragged and I lost interest at some parts throughout the drama. The character YZ feels very familiar…it’s almost like she is type casted to play these types of characters. I would like to see her take on other roles.

I really like this drama and it grabs your attention immediately in episode 1. So far, I’m enjoying it more than Legend of Fei and Legend of Fuyao but we’ll see as the drama progresses. Definitely worth the watch. Lots of action, good looking leads with sizzling chemistry.

I think the very last comment about the Yu’s dying young even though they haven’t really touched on that yet. There was a mention of it when Yu Wuyuan was with Prince Huang Chao’s little sister

Episode 15 when Shen Yan finally returns, it was pointless for Liu Ling to make up those lies to hurt him because she was to be married off. He would eventually find out the truth anyway so it’s completely pointless. Doesn’t make sense!!!

First episode and I’m hooked. The story moves quick and there are no drafty scenes or episodes.

Yes! Me too! He admires her (her true self) and is falling for Bai so I wonder how he will feel when he discovers they are one in the same ☺️☺️☺️

I started watching it but have it on hold since I’m so into Who Rules the World. I’m a little disappointed there isn’t a little bit more romance in Glory of Special Forces.
I love the Zhao Lusi and and Yang Yang characters and chemistry in this drama. The storyline moves quick and there are no draggy scenes or episodes. I love it.

She’s more badass than the FL’s in Legend of Fei and Legend of Fuyao. Love Lusi’s character in this drama.

Yes I agree. Some of the things she does is very childish and cringy. I was waiting for her to “grow up” before the ML fell for her

I think it’s quite refreshing to watch a drama of this period with a FL who came on very strong and went after the ML. However, her advances were aggressive and her schemes seemed to annoy the ML very much. She threw herself at him several times and even pretended he sexually assaulted her on numerous occasions. I wonder at which point he began to fall for her. Maybe when she ran away and he saw another side to her.
