I felt like she’s almost the same character from Go Go Squid. I finished it but wasn’t that impressed with the drama.

Before I start watching this drama can someone tell me if this is an immature, naive type of romance? Thanks

I haven’t seen Legally Romance but I have to agree with you that this drama is a bit boring. The few YZ dramas I’ve seen, her characters are so similar. This drama was just average for me.

Two words…San San. If she’s not toxic and self absorbed then I don’t know what is.
Note…I’m on episode 20 so maybe the characters will mature by the end of the drama. One can only hope.

I’m currently on episode 20 and I have the same sentiments as you. I suppose people can say the FL is young and inexperienced but she lacks maturity and common sense as well. She has this idealistic view of what a relationship should be like from observing the 3rd couple whose lives revolve around each other until the bf had enough of that nonsense.
The FL is creating her own relationship issues that arose from what her friend is going through. The FL lacks common sense and took what her bf said about people needing space out of context and got upset at her bf for no reason. Very childish even for a college student.
Don’t get me started on San San…she’s self centered, bossy, and thinks too highly of herself. She’s in no position to give her friends advice when she’s a clueless mess herself. I also don’t think her being physical is cute at all.

This is the third Yang Zi drama I’ve watched and the characters she plays are fairly similar. The innocent, clueless, girl next door.
The FL’s life is starting to revolve around the ML…just like the FL in Go Go Squid. I feel like she doesn’t really have anything going on in her life at this point. Also, I find the relationship between the leads frustrating. Can people really be that clueless about relationships and communication?

The FL is so supportive of the ML…Yang Yang is so dreamy. I like it a lot better than My Little Happiness.

If you haven’t seen You are My Glory, you should watch that one. I really like it. Some people don’t like the gaming part but it’s only in the beginning.

Have you seen Love at Night? The second couple have more screen time than any other second leads in dramas I’ve seen. I had zero interest in their story and had to ff too. Lol

I just FF those parts.

Watching this the second time, the FL is annoying a lot of the times. Too indecisive and immature. Maybe it’s supposed to come off as cute but I surely didn’t think so.

Someone PLEASE tell me when the story starts to pick up. I’m on episode 11 and so far it’s full of jealous, conniving, backstabbing women who are trying to win the emperor’s favor. Not sure if I should drop this drama or not.
