I have to agree with you in this. If I had to describe this drama in one word, it would be “frustrating!” I’m not done watching yet (episode 38) but I feel like is there going to be more to this story????? Will it het interesting??? I’ve invested too much time already so I might as well finish it.
Its definetly worth investing your time. From CGI to Ost everything is just sooo GOOD! After Love and Redemption…
I’m on episode 37 and I think this falls short compared to Love and Redemption, which had several unexpected plot twist. Love and Redemption was full of action and the story moved quick. I’m still waiting for the climax to Ancient Love Poetry. I hope it’s not disappointing.
I’m on episode 37 and I feel like the story is such a slow build up. I’m waiting for something big to happen and I don’t know if it’s already happened or if there’s more to come. If it already happened…this is a snoozer. At this point, I think you should watch the Long Ballad first. Maybe my opinion might change after I finish this one but as if now..:I’m not that impressed with it.

I agree…this rating is too high. The story line wasn’t that great. The FL leads whispering was annoying. However, I enjoyed watching it. I just don’t think it deserves this high of a rating.
No one can compare with our A’Sun but can you recommend a drama with a similar ML? I’m trying to move on but having a hard time. I’ve never been this obsessed with a character before. He’s the whole package.

I’m really impressed with his acting. He’s definitely not a one dimensional actor. His eyes alone can convey so much emotion. I was impressed with the scene where his mom died.
Does Tong Nian’s wardrobe have to be so baggy and hideous? I get that they are portraying a youthful look but I’m sure there are way better options out there.

Changge is not one to go back on her words. While A’Sun was recovering from being shot in the chest, she had promised to never leave him and be with him for her entire lifetime. A’Sun left a letter of proposal at her mother’s tablet and Changge also calls him her husband. They talk about their future and where they want to live, they talk about herding sheep and cattle. This, among other clues, is enough to know that they are together in the end.
