These things can be simultaneously true: KSH can be a predator who preyed on a minor AND GM agency heads are greedy, despicable monsters AND the vultures, including journalists and "influencers" , who hounded Kim Sae Ron after her DUI are the ones responsible for destroying her career and public image and THEY are the reason KSR was in the financial hole she couldn't get out of. Don't let them off the hook. Ever. Don't let them shovel all this on KSH and GM and dodge their own responsibility. Hold them accountable.

This was my first k-drama, so my first time seeing Song Hye Kyoi in action. Oh. My. God. This series was viscerally satisfying. Glory set an incredibly high bar for everything that came after.

This comment chain is getting a little rough, but I'll weigh in for you anyway. IMO, you are spot absolutely unequivocally on target. Anyone making excuses for a neglectful mother who abets (and standing idly by is abetting) her children being psychologically, emotionally, and physically abused is failing at a mother's most important job: protecting her children.

I understand the abused and controlled wife syndrome and I have sympathy for it, but not to the extent that I'll excuse Mom's cowardice when it comes to her children. A lot of abused wives/mothers don't have the resources to leave, this one does. Besides, with this Mom, her entire what will people think and my brothers will be inconvenienced response to Rak asking why she put up with Khem erased any margin I might otherwise have given her. Clearly, her choices are ALL about her comfort, not her childrens' safety.

I'm expecting some sort of big reveal involving Kawi. His father has so much control over Kawi there has to be a reason Kawi is so afraid of him.
