So the rumours about Pam and Pheem having a seaside romantic past was indeed true . I guess it's good that they changed the story from the books a bit. The fact that Pheem falls in love with Pam before knowing of her job makes more sense .
The premise is very similar to a webtoon I read. Difference is the rich girl in that knows the poor girl isn’t like that and was auctioning herself to help her sick hospitalized mom. I stopped reading it because i was turned off by the way she treated her like an object anyway. Bought her, told her to strip and had her hands down her from the get go. I don’t care if she’s liked the girl from whenever. Who does that to someone they like and is in a vulnerable state like that? I guess a lot of readers like that, not me. I don’t know how anyone finds that romantic.
I don’t like fls being mean to the other one, even if it’s a misunderstanding. I like lenamui a lot though. I was hoping this would be better than their first one. So I’ll just keep waiting until ch3 puts them in something I like. Next year maybe. Otherwise, I’ll probably just give up on ch3 gls, although I like their actresses. Their stories are just not my cup of tea.
Pheem is toxic but my only wish is they don't make her do things which Flint did with Sun in "My Only Sunshine " ,there's no coming back from that. Her grabbing Parn every second meeting is triggering enough as it is and the fact that Parn's father is so abusive towards her doesn't help either.
hmm i have no issue with peem being toxic, i think the show just does a bad job at making her sudden change in demeanour feel like it makes any sense at all. but maybe i'm also just not into the whole insta-love thing lol. it just felt weird, i get peem is sort of triggered bc of past experiences i guess? but i find it a bit strange that parn was totally willing to sleep w her w no money involved and jbc she left idk... it just feels a bit strange that peem is suddenly acting this way when it's not super well established. i think it could've been done a bit better to make the toxicity at least a bit juicy, instead it feels a bit strange. i don't mind it tho, but it did feel out of nowhere and not very... deserved!
Given what I've seen in the Japanese precursor, Kim Ji Won is perfect for this role. But then, she's been perfect…
Cant wait to see her 'take' on Doctor X! Kinda nervous as well cause Yonekura Ryoko's Doctor X was unique and was HER Doctor X. She can still own her version of Doctor X without trying to recreate Daimon. Hopefully thats what they are going for!
3 episodes in this needs way more Jounouchi, she's so cute!!! Ebina's performance in episode 4 was so good, I'm blown away. And the last episode is pefect, that's a very nice conclusion of the series.
With the novelty worn off, the second season was more of the same but with Daimon sensei performing uncommon operations not seen in Japan. Other ambitious surgeons in the department used her skills to claim credit in order to gain their promotion. Plagiarism, favourtism, corruptions and lies were flowing throughout. If one wants to settle down for a relaxing evening after a day's work, this is the ticket. Like a good restaurant, once they have found a winning recipe, there is no need to change the formula. The inclusion of Jonouchi in Daimon's life added a partner with the necessary humour to dilute some the gritty backstabbing seen at the hospital. Even all seniors paid lip service to possible rewards for their juniors, at the end of the day, the seniors had only their self interest.
