The ending on transmigration dramas is always way too rushed. It's such a bummer after going through all that angst.

I'm suffering from the miscommunication on miscommunication happening as well. It's like watching two stones clash together repeatedly, lol.

It gets much better later on once we started really getting to know the characters.

If you have an issue with same sex relationships or even the implication of a temporary one "ruining" dramas, then sounds like the genre just isn't for you. Don't like, don't watch. There are plenty of other dramas out there.

I found the pacing slow as well. I finished and definitely don't regret watching, it is very good, but the pacing doesn't speed up if that helps your decision. Very nice plot and meaning heavy drama but it takes its time moving along.

Not on your list but have you watched Legend of Shen Li? Good characters, plot, and ending. The double is fantastic but stop before the very ending, they kind of spoil it with a weird unnecessary scene. Otherwise 10/10. Moonlight mystique is really good but definitely will make you cry closer to the end. I don't want to give spoilers but I shed a lot of tears. Good ending though. Til the end of the moon, I hear, is full of misunderstandings. My friend who watched it told me not to even bother unless you watch it for the pretty ML and like pain. Love of the Divine Tree was immensely good until, in my opinion, 3/4 of the way through. Then it just got chaotic. However, a lot of people really liked that one and it has a good ending. One drama I really enjoyed recently is The Demon Hunter's Romance but again, the ending is kind of weird. Very bittersweet. Otherwise, incredibly enjoyable.

Given how bad Korea is with cyberbullying and Squid Games being so popular, it would have been legitimately a huge deal for a trans person to put themselves in such a big spotlight. There are far too many people who, and even a few celebs, I can think of that passed away due to even the speculation they were gay. Korea is not kind to any sort of rumors, but especially the LGBTQ + community. Baby steps are necessary so people aren't put in danger.

It's actually quite a good drama! You just have to stop near the end if you don't want an out of the blue ending.

If she was born with it, it would be a sign from heaven that she's blessed. Birthmarks are a very common theme, whether good or bad, in Chinese lore and stories. Especially ones so visible. That coupled with meridians, the huadian placement could imply culturally/superstitiously that heaven had blessed her for a higher calling or that she had a higher power of understanding in the universe - a sort of proclivity to ascension if that makes sense.

Again, I haven't actually seen the drama, this is just my assumption.

I'm not sure how it's related to this drama as I'm just perusing the comments before watching, but the huadian (the common spelling) is make-up that was popularized by a princess who was supposedly out for a walk in the gardens and a petal fell from a flower tree to stick on her forehead. After that, it was a sign of status and became more common for women to wear as an accessory. It's used in dramas a lot now on demons, certain eras of Empress's/princess's, and higher stationed women. Different symbols can mean different things, and women often added flowers, pearls, and other materials as well. I believe this is what you're referring to, sorry if I'm mistaken!

Finished and I'm still upset at the nuked ending, but also really loved this drama. All the good things about it, great characters, intricate world-building, and fantastic plot telling, is also the reason why I just can't get behind the ending. It's very obvious it was a bid for tears and not the well thought out ending the couple deserved. I absolutely adored Banxia though. Her character development was just so good and steady, even at the end.

I was really enjoying this drama, it was so thought out and the acting is good, but wth is ep 34 onwards?? I have two episodes left and I'm wondering where all the plot went just for a cheap bad guy execution, self sacrifice angst, and a ml that keeps specifically doing what Banxia asked him NOT to do. It's a bit anti-climactic to say the least :')

I know this may come as a surprise to you, but I like the country I live in despite all its faults and I don't really want it to be ruined and bled dry for oligarchs. Plus, you know basic humanity and caring for others. I know that's, pun intended, foreign to you but the world continues to turn and good always prevails. This too shall pass.

Yeah it's my religion sweetie. Using the Lord's name in vain is when it's used to commit horrible acts in his name...kinda like the current president is doing. And "You're a mess" is a fact.

You're a one man/woman show talking about breaking the US the fix it which is ridiculous. These are peoples lives, including the measles outbreak. If it was as easy as Vitamin A, kids wouldn't be dying. In fact, children are being brought into hospitals because they're being given TOO MUCH vitamins which can absolutely wreck the liver. The vitamin can help replace a deficiency and may help mitigate effects, but it's not a cure and it's certainly not a vaccination.

On trade wars, sure they've happened for a long time but not to this extent. It's already being observed that the number of freights importing goods has dropped drastically . Experts are predicting about three months tops before we start running out of things. This will affect the poor and minority's in particular. Leaders of other countries are also not going to negotiate with a man who's been completely disrespectful and shown obvious signs of wanting to be a dictator. Not only this but the tariff's and blatant overreach into other countries has all but eliminated all of our allies so if anyone wanted to, they could just come right in and destabilize our already precarious structure.

So, yeah, these trade wars are just the tip of the ice burg. We import so much of our economy and other countries don't have to trade with us at all. They can trade with each other and cut us out entirely. It's already happening.

Oh Jesus Christ, you are a mess. All of this is not based on facts and also just because one bad person exists doesn't make it okay to upgrade to another. Good luck with that though.

America currently is represented by a rxpist, a measles outbreak, and a trade war. But go off I guess 😂

Just finished and this drama reached into my chest and scooped my heart out. 10/10. Now to go drink water to replace all the tears I shed.
