Wang Yi Bo with blue hair might be my aesthetic, lol. I loved him in the TU, but haven't seem him in much else other than that and Day Day Up.

I'm not sure I hate them, there was definitely some dislike, but both had reasons for the way they acted towards…
I love some good morally gray characters. It makes you really think about motives and traits.

Thanks for pointing that out! I forgot about that! Yeah, the dad definitely played a hand in the favoritism as well. I didn't really think about it in depth before, but the mom didn't seem to know her husband really cared about her until he came back to fight with her. That scene always gets me.

I didn't mind his mother in the end because of that. She didn't necessarily like WWX, but she trusted his loyalty to JC.

I do love the different characters in TU because (like Cqlis said) there are so many morally gray areas and characters. While it's obviously a different world, there are many personality traits that reflect back on rl. Some people handle painful events with a smile while some are angry at the world. I like to think that if JC had someone to lean on more with less people around him bashing WWX, things might have ended up differently.

Also, I remember later JC was talking to WWX about the past and he said something along the lines of "You said you would be at my shoulder when with me at the head of the sect. You said we would be like the Twin Jades." It's been a minute since I watched, so correct me if I'm wrong, but it was something along those lines. I always thought that, in addition to the other losses, he was hurt to have lost WWX to something he didn't understand. I felt like he mourned losing his 'brother' to dark cultivation and really just wanted WWX to choose him first.

I think most everybody suffered in some way or another in this. WWX suffered with a smile, LWJ suffered in silence, and JC suffered alone which amplified his anger.

yeah I have I Hear Your Voice in the list https://kisskh.at/list/PLpW0a81. lol honestly till the end I thought…
I actually liked her there. The mental illness she had made her character all over the place, but I thought it was done decently well. I might be a little biased because I like the actress though. xD

Title The Untamed Spoiler
everytime i rewatch this i hate cheng and his mother more
I'm not sure I hate them, there was definitely some dislike, but both had reasons for the way they acted towards WWX so that made it a little easier to understand their characters. The mom just wanted what was best for her children, and she saw WWX as someone who might get in the way of that.

Meanwhile, Jiang Cheng had everyone that he cared about taken away in an extremely short time span. If anything, I felt sorry for Jiang Cheng because, while Wei Wuxian had Lan Zhan to support him when he came back, JC didn't really have anyone to lean on. Even in those 16 years that Wei Ying was gone, he had to rebuild his clan and be a somewhat father to his shijie's son. He's definitely still a jerk, but a lonely jerk. :)

Not sure if you've watched I Hear Your Voice, which has Lee Jong Suk in it. He acts a nineteen year old in that one, while the FL is depicted as a public defender in her (I think) mid twenties. I didn't mind it the first time, but it was a little weird when I went back to watch it again. There's a lot of character development he doesn't get to do since they make the romance okay due to his mental trauma maturing him.

I know an age gap I saw recently, but didn't mind was Fix Me. A lot of people had a problem with it though.

I didn't really have a problem with the Goblin age gap since they didn't start romancing it up until later and the two did have chemistry together once they do the time skip. My biggest issue was the end when there's another time skip and she ends up younger again. That was a little eh for me.

I'm a HE person too, but sometimes I like to torture myself with SE's. I definitely am not a fan of surprise SE's. I never finished Scarlet Heart Ryeo or Make Our Days Count either because of the tragedies. I still cry when I hear the OST from SHR, lol. Also, The Smile Has Left Your Eyes was a sneaky sad ending. That one hurt.

A sad ending drama that I am looking forward too is My Country. I live for impactful sacrifice (or maybe traumatizing myself).

I personally loved the secondary couples (there are two) but they don't get a lot of romantic screen time like…
Oh, yeah, they slipped that one in at the last moment! I forget about it! This one has all the lovely mini ships.

In addition to the ones Sheyra mentioned, I also considering two of the psychiatric patients as a couple. They were super cute together.

You can use drama3s as well. That one doesn't run ads on the video itself which is nice.
It's a site. Drama3s.me. It's where I watched it :)

What about secondary couples here ??
I personally loved the secondary couples (there are two) but they don't get a lot of romantic screen time like the main couple. They're more of a sweet side thing that happens along the way. :)

One of the greatest responses! Savage AF. I lost it at Baby Lans, lol.

Same, I like the SL in Miss Truth - the ML is so arrogant - but I wish they fleshed his character out a bit more…
Honestly, yes. She professed her love for the SL one second and then did a 180 the next episode. I couldn't really get behind it. I will go down with that ship!
