Really enjoyed the first half of this, but after that it just became repetitive, nonsensical, employed cheap plot angst, and was riddled with plot holes galore. The ending was lackluster too, and not because it tasted bitter as Shen's chicken soup. Just too many plot holes and it forfeited proper buildup in exchange for silly scenes that were supposed to make us cry but couldn't fulfill their sole role.

Personally not my cup of tea, but if you like angst and just watch mindlessly, might be enjoyable.

I liked this one. I wasn't sure what to expect, especially after the ML is openly acting like a pervert, but as the drama progressed it really grew on me. The message and watching the FML grow into herself and her joy was really nice, there was good chemistry but healthy (for the most part) boundaries, and a nice sub plot line that drew it together without being too much.

A nice short watch that isn't too heavy. Plus, the comedy in this is so well timed. FML is savage 😂

Not what I expected at all, but I'm absolutely happy that I listened to the comments. Chemistry is great, acting, ost, and plotline were all executed near flawlessly. I wasn't sure what this would be like going into it, and was pleasantly surprised. Really good watch and loved the twists that added some zest!

I am eager and waiting for this! I just know it's going to be a tortuous wait but it'll (hopefully pls pls) be worth it!

The absolute perfect rom com! Very non stressful, slapstick comedy and the mains had so much chemistry. A fantastic execution of Cinderella with spunk and her prince charming that fell head over heels, so so cute

Absolutely bitter about the ending to some of my fav characters though. My eyes are still swollen 😭😭

This is such a fantastic drama! I loved all the side plots, how smitten the main lead was, and all the antics of the side characters. So enjoyable and clever <3

I hated her and felt sorry for her at the same time. She'd been through so much, yet made it worse for herself after the pains she went through.

Started off strong, but the pacing was off the last two/three episodes. I think they just tried to add too much rushed plot at the last minute to get some angst in but tbh, I think the couples carried themselves and it was unneeded. Before that though, absolutely a fun watch. I would have loved to see more of the couples overall but still a decent enough breather in between longer shows.

A fantastic plot, idea, and execution that sadly tapered off as the series continued. Things were drawn out for the sake of angst, there were scenes where others were in danger and they're just there chatting/deliberating, which results in bad stuff happening, and a lot was chalked down to bad people being bad people/good people getting passes for bad stuff they did. It started off so strong but by the midpoint a lot of the scenes felt overdone and underwritten. So much potential that didn't pull through. Would have probably benefitted from four less episodes.

I was watching like Jun Ho baby when are you going to stop calling her teacher, you can't be hoovering her mouth and doing that 😭

A decent drama to fill time. I liked that most things were resolved quickly. The acting was fantastic, especially on the ML's part. I know a lot of people are complaining about SSK's acting, but I went in expecting her particular brand of wide-eyed beauty acting and was actually pleasantly surprised on top of it as I feel this might be one of her better series.

The main couple is absolutely head over heals for each other and that's really what kept me watching. That specific obsession the king has for the fml is absolutely fantastic. Honestly, I enjoyed this, I think because I expected for all the bad reviews to be correct so my expectations were low. Don't go into this looking for deep dark twists and no plot holes though. They left some questions open, and a few things just don't make sense if you think about them too in depth.

It's a good romance with cute relationships and some intrigue, nothing more or less.

Much of Asia, particularly Korea, while mostly friendly to visitors is known to be quite racist as well. Racism is not a western thing, its a worldwide issue. This doesn't make it okay, but lets not pretend that racism isn't found in every country and culture.

While her inconsistent powerful and then defeated thing annoyed me too, it was earlier explained that if someone mastered the Ghost Eulogy, they could theoretically go head to head with the Dark Lord dude w/e his name is. Plus, without his heart protecting scale, Tianyao was much weaker...which was not a great plot point but was at least consistent for the whole drama.

If you don't like this drama, then it's not for you but you don't need to be in here calling people liars and fourteen year old's. Makes it sound like you're the teenager. Plus, your watchlist is full of action/crime/horror thrillers, this drama is probably not your jam and that's okay. No need to linger, find something you will enjoy.
