they need to stop with these 8-9 episode dramas :( it just ruins the quality.
Yeah it'd be nice if they did episodes closer to what story plot they have. (I mean I know it's not really realistic, but a girl can dream lol) This would've benefited from the more typical 16 ep.
It is interesting but I don’t know how 9 episodes are going to flesh out the story, and honestly what is the story. It doesn’t have a clear goal in mind. It is about survival for all of the characters and how they adapt to what’s going on around them, and how the river affects their daily life, but where is the end goal? The supposed 3 main characters don’t get enough screen time to be true main characters it seems like. Everyone kind of flows together, which isn’t bad, but the description implies something more. I think….
It’s so nice seeing a historical that’s not in the palace. I also love how everything looks more lived in, like it’s not so clean. I wanted dirt and I see dirt lol (I mean if you’re a peasant living in the elements all day, you’re going to look it). Call me weird but I love it. I’m tired of everything looking so pristine on screen yk
{This is just my opinion} I don't know if I liked it or not actually, I loved season 1 & 2. (those I know were based off the manga, which I read) But this didn't have a clear meaning behind the joker card which bothered me. Maybe it was supposed to be confusing, idk. I mean it was entertaining, but I liked how S2 ended (and this kinda felt like an afterthought) If they make another season I probably wouldn't watch.
It was cute and I'm glad no one died omg, so many end up in heartbreak, but I was thankful for a happy ending. And Gong Yoo in a coffee shop again, my Heart ^.^
I like rewatching this show, but since I watched it all the way through the first time, I skip almost every scene of the second couple/han yuju. She plays those 2 guys like puppets on strings, and I just can’t.
So my question is that I didn't watch the Korean version when it aired.. but I just finished watching this, and…
The kdrama is a good watch, solid entertainment lol. But if you don’t want to dedicate the time, Stephanie soo did a recap(podcast thing) basically on her YouTube channel and I thought it was funny. She’s good at telling stories
what are your thoughts about Gong Myung and Cha Young Woo out of their comfort zones performances?
I enjoy seeing actors go out of their comfort zones, otherwise they wouldn’t grow or improve their acting. So even if it’s not stellar, they can hopefully learn. :)
