Okay, we will see about Whispers of Fate, my most anticipated drama for more than a year. So far, the OST previews are way too good, and no drama has so much of the main + big supporting cast singing OSTs, but it looks like this one will, which they actually haven't revealed these ones yet, which is crazy exciting!

Curious if Mingyi was actually a guy if Situ's feelings would be the same (but lowkey bc of censorship)... that'd be interesting and I'd be up for a bromance lmao. Nah, but a bromance of the leads would've been epic. I lowkey wished we actually got to see her reappear in the Mingxian form again to see it LOL

Ghost Peony? Is that Gui Mudan? I thought he's a guest role, or is MDL really inaccurate with who they write as guest roles?

Lol I loved Fated Hearts when it started. But with the addition of more and more annoying characters... I ended up ff all their scenes. I am only continuing watching for the leads, Suige's ppl, and his brother. Story is pretty good tho for me. But it's messier with all these messed up ppl lmao.

Whispers of Fate and Sword and Beloved are very likely to air late this month. Also, you need to watch Dashing Youth, and after that, The Blood of Youth, after you finish Blood River. Both dramas are good, esp TBOY, which you're missing out on.

Yessss and better yet we get 4K for this (idk if MangoTV does but Youku and WeTV don't either) so I'm happy whenever we get smth on iQIYI or Netflix for this matter 😍

I miss this drama too 💔 I loved how it wasn't busy at all bc this was the only drama that was airing so I was able to put my full attention on it and write comments and discuss things with y'all and I miss those days 😭 I can't even join in the discussions of other airing dramas rn bc I'm always behind (idek how you do it, I'm surprised to see you caught up with the three airing dramas... difficult for me, I had to put Yunmy 3x on hold) 🫠

But for Blood River and Whispers of Fate... since they're my top two most anticipated, I'm gonna really try to be on time with them both 😩 And as much as Chengyi is my fave actor and I wanna watch Sword and Beloved, I'm gonna only start that once I finish one of the other two dramas bc three dramas at a time isn't for me~ Hbu? So many airing dramas... I've been planning to watch it this year but it's difficult. I have hope that there's no drama I'm anticipating airing next month tho, so far as melons say, so I can use the time to watch this by then 🙏

Edit: It's a busy last part of the year so I think I will try early next year hopefully so I can enjoy this one to the fullest!

I just saw that many of the supporting cast actually get their own main theme songs where the actors sing their character song... I'm not totally sure how accurate this is tho. Bc to me, it's already unbelievable bc we already have like how many songs? But it's not impossible 👀 I would be loving it so much 🥲

I believe the ML will have romance (which I would've preferred not esp I heard the book doesn't have any of it) but yeah it seems to be on the side which I'l accept). I wonder how it will be like hmm... Anyways, it's better than a full-fledged romance for this kind of drama.

While we enjoy reading others' reviews, it's important to be mindful to take in our own opinion and not let others' thoughts take over how we think of a drama :) But tbh, I'm sure it'll be an emotional one (maybe they mean romance-driven in that sense, which is how I took it at first, and would make more sense?) 😅

I watched the movie but haven't listened to the OSTs after that. I just listened to it and I can hear it. They are both indeed a ballad, and are both emotional, slow, and melancholy. Kind of have a similar vibe to it, but have their own distinct, unique melody. Also, I did not know Deng Lun has an OST in it. Thanks for sharing! Will add it to my playlist now :D

Praying he and Neo Hou reunite in the drama Immortalis... I'd live to see two Wuxies together and more of their interactions that we did not get enough of in Fangs of Fortune! Oh, and not to mention the bromance... I hope they don't discard it in this drama too. These two do very well in the bromance genre lol.
