There's not much difference between 4K and 1080 to be honest. Some shows actually looks worse in 4K depending…
I politely disagree~ iQIYI is the only platform that gives us 4K I believe (I've only used WeTV and Youku so far) and I'm devastated to not be able to get the 4K experience in the other two (scenes always look pixelated esp dark scenes which is annoying), while I will always praise and thank iQIYI for being fair to us international fans lol. (Yes, their 1080p is not mucu different to their 4K, but the other two's 1080p is much worse than iQIYI's 1080p.) To each their own tho.
Does anyone have this drama on their Netflix? I am wondering which regions these are in so I can try using a VPN to watch it with English subs (I've lost hope tho and might just have to stick with Youku with its awful quality) 😭🫠
I liked their dynamics even in the donghua... their personalities were diff but they were still close. Changhe…
I love how they're doing justice to this. I mean, they went in line with my expectations bc of TBOY with the same team~ esp director and screenwriter (who is the author) so I had a feeling they wouldn't disappoint and so far they're not! Haven't read the novel nor donghua so don't know about the two until watching this and it's interesting to see it unfold here. I find their relationship really interesting.
ngl no hate but I prefer Cheng Hong Xin's portrayal of Su Mu Yu in Dashing Youth more than Gong Jun's but it could…
Actually tbh ever since this drama was announced, along with the cast, at some point I was curious what it would be like if they kept Cheng Hongxin as Su Muyu and was lowkey sad too. When I imagine him and Chang Huasen on the same screen, I feel like it would be smth else, like omg... They were both in MM so even more for me it'd have been interesting to see their dynamic together. I think they would've slayed hard. Not to say that Gong Jun and him don't bc I alr love watching them together, but when I imagine Cheng Hongxin and Chang Huasen? Dang, now it makes me wanna see these two in another drama with a similar dynamic lol...
From ep 1, I'm already loving the bromance btw our two male leads hehe~ I'm thinking also... Gong Jun was in a BL himself - WoH, AND so was Chang Huasen - Eternal Faith... What a combo I swear xD (still waiting for the latter....)
My boy Chang Huasen is eating up his role as Su Changhe! So far he's my fave here! He truly brought his character to life! Gong Jun is doing well too~ I barely watched him and this is the first I see him as a serious character which is quite refreshing. I like him in this kind of role. Applaud to both 👏 And can I mention their bromance? Oh, I am already all in for these two! I knew they basically grew up together and have had some conflicts with each other, and seeing it come to play here is really another experience. Can't wait to see more of them and their relationship, and everything else in the drama!
It's really strange for you to say this bc he literally plays Baili Dongjun in Dashing Youth which is from the same era and universe of thie series. I sure wouldn't choose him already for this one reason. Him playing the lead in two different dramas from the same universe? That would make it very confusing.
Lol Veil of Shadows has alr 100K and it only finished filming this year 🤣 Also I don't find 7K a lot~ Feels…
Lol it's bc many ppl were excited for the filming esp after FoF (since many of the cast there reunite in it) and then the comment section became like a groupchat 😂
Wow it sounds like the dialects are different from what is the standard? Is this how it's like for the Dark River organization (or is it really just the actors' way of speaking)?
I never watched him yet but I've already been a fan looking forward to Shui Long Yin for awhile now 😆 Why? He's really cute and handsome. His character also looks so loveable! I also love how he's the same age as me. Just three weeks younger. But get this. My brother is exactly a year older than him (sharing the same birthday). Anyways, can't wait to see him in SLY the most! Oh, and Pull Strings as well!
