Anyone else who was invested in Jiang Cheng and Chuanxiang's story? It was so tragic and heartbreaking omg... The fact that they lived together for a period of time. It became so sad when Jiang Cheng was poisoned and Chuanxiang tried to find a way to cure him. In the end, little did we know... Jiang Cheng actually killed Chuanxiang (he wasn't just missing but gone!)? Now that is SO TRAGIC!! I was fr heartbroken for them π It's even sadder that they lived without resolving their huge misunderstandings π But it's a blessing in disguise that Jiang Cheng died without knowing the truth bc imagine the guilt and pain he'd have to carry and live on with, while we know Chuanxiang wouldn't want him to blame himself. But what's bittersweet about all this? They will meet again in the afterlife β¨οΈ
so far the bromance with the villain is like toxic doomed yaoi. not sure what it will be like with the introduction…
I always thought they will due to some snippets. I believe that XSY here will be LYX's bodyguard (learnt this awhile ago)~ Here's a clip of them sharing a close bond!
Not over seeing Gong Jun and Li Daikun on the same screen after WoH like dang can't believe we got a Wen Kexing and Scorpion King reunion... THEY WERE SO FUN AND EPIC TO WATCH!!
Somewhere around 32 minutes of ep 3 where Chi Yun and Chunji are walking around the black market... It's literally giving Harry Potter... not just the overall vibe but I am mainly talking about the MUSIC... like it's so sounding similar to a HP bgm? Anyone got the same feeling when watching it? I was amazed and in shock... really brings back nostalgia from my childhood aahhh...
Yes go watch Chang Huasen aka Wind Master in Blood River! He's got an amazing bromance with the ML, Gong Jun, who is also ML in a BL too~ So it'll be a fun watch hehe
The 8 rating feels average to me. I haven't watched it yet because I find it frustrating to wait for the episodes…
I watch dramas while airing often, and let me tell you that dramas often start low like this one (one factor is likely due to haters unfortunately), so from now on, don't ever trust the low ratings for an airing drama. And tbh, you have your own taste. High rated dramas doesn't mean you will always like them. There are a lot out there that were okay for me unlike the high rating. So try your best not to grt influenced by ratings bc they aren't always accurate for you. :)
In my opinion blood river is far better than blood of youth and great improvement from high level director along…
I loved TBOY but I think I'm actually liking this more. I like the complexity of the characters, esp the two MLs and their deep relationship, and the unique experience we get to have thru the lens of assassins. It's a very unique and interestong concept. Also, the cinematography is really no joke. I really also love the coloring so much. It fits the vibe of the drama so well.
Can't wait to see the Tantai brothers reunite π«£ This time they're gonna be really close unlike their sibling roles π Seems like XSY's character Langhun will be taking the spot Liu Yan used to be in as his close friend that he can trust now π«Ά
I can't with the relationship btw Tang Lici and Liu Yan LOL it makes me even more excited to see Luo Yunxi and Alen Fang again in Shadow Punisher with prob a much healthier relationship hehe
I really can't believe my most anticipated drama for more than a year has finally dropped... Ofc I went to watch the first ep as soon as I woke up 3 hours and omggg it did NOT disappoint!! Everything about it was so good! I'm so excited to watch more!! π
Can't wait to see what's up with Liu Yan (lowkey reminds me of Li Lun from FoF rn π« ) and I looove Yun and Tang Lici's bond! π Chi Yun actor is just three weeks younger than me so I've been super excited to see him! Anyone else getting reminded of Yuan Lu from AJTL in a way with his character? Such a cute and loveable! ππ₯°

Me: Is the friendship not enough? How about the bromance? Sismance?
