Oh yes TBOY is def better. I think it's bc of the director. But we are so lucky with these three adaptations bc the author of the novels actually does the screenwriting so they follow the script well which is nice. I actually really enjoyed Dashing Youth but not the focus on the romance aspect from ep 20+, BUT I get why they put that as the story... It's bc it's the prequel of TBOY, showing the story of TBOY characters' parents, which is nice to see. I would rec Dashing Youth b4 TBOY at least tho. It'll feel like a good watch from the prequel to the sequel imo.

My father asked me and my sister to recommend him some dramas on iQIYI and one of them was this and I am glad he is enjoying it so far! Man am I missing it a lot tho... 😭

My #1 anticipated drama (alongside Fushanhai) is Shui Long Yin! I have a good feeling about these two dramas!

Can someone explain to me why I can't watch the last 6 eps on iQIYI? It says I need to purchase it now? Why is that? Is it bc it's not an iQIYI exclusive drama or they really started adding that feature? Would I even be able to watch it all eventually without paying? I never had this experience on iQIYI and used the app so many times watching airing dramas...

Fushanhai is like my top anticipated drama and I bet it won't disappointed~ It might come out after Shadow Love hopefully!

Lol it makes sense why ppl would be angry for this but yeah ppl hating on her should really try to understand her rather than just always hating on FLs all the time, I swear 😅😭 Bc I did despite being angry lol! Like she ain't even a bad FL... she's just hot-tempered but has a good heart! Isn't it common to see ppl like this? It's what makes her human. And yes, you're right! I could tell how much those two really cared for him and tried to find a way to cure him! I loved how strong their bond became 🥹 Yk what would be even sadder tho? Beiming actually dying from the poison which... we wouldn't be able to help but rmr the fact that those two kind of caused that by accident 😭 But thank goodness they got him cured! I knew watching how hard they tried to cure him that it wouldn't go in vain! And it really warmed my heart to see how much they grew together thru this obstacle! To think that the poison was very useful and resourceful in the end too... really, good job 🥹👏

It started off well but for some reason started to become boring in the middle. I think maybe bc of how repetitive it felt? Not all the cases connect and it doesn't always feel like we are detectives but rather being told than shown the things behind the cases. Also the last 6 or so eps shift into palace intrigue which idk if you would like. The characters don't feel as fleshed out either. The mains feel too perfect. But give it a try at least. You could like it like many others did. I mean, I like it, but it's not thaaat great imo. I will say it's refreshing to see a FL being a coroner and smart in many things to help with the cases, but it almost feels too smooth most of the time.

Frrr! L&R was my very first xianxia and I loved it whenever he appeared! He made it so much fun with all the suffering that was going on in that drama 🤣 The way he makes a snake sound too to show he is a snake would really get me 😂

Ngl I loved everything about it except some of the last eps (everything with that Hao Yue girl kinda felt unnecessary)... But I still rated it high bc it was very enjoyable throughout most of it and ended well too.

People saying Bai Shu doesn't fit the villain role and I kinda agree haha he really suits comical roles the best! Here's to my favorite role of his as Tengshe in Love and Redemption! He is just so iconic and unforgettable in this drama... like even if you didn't watch it, you'd prob come to love him with just this video edit of him 😂

Wait, the FL is dubbed? I loved her in I am Nobody... I love her voice and the way she speaks! She has a unique way of using her voice! Oh, this is a bummer! I will prob get used to it tho but I'm sad about this 🥺

I will just say you will fall in love with the MLs and their relationship with each other like some of us (including me)... They really have a beautiful relationship and their soulmatism I feel is rare to see and is truly one of a kind... Also, this is the queerest C-drama I have seen yet. MLs are sooo shippable (and I'm one of those shippers :D), and so are the FLs!

Dropped at ep 22 a few days ago, picked it back up, and now I'm finally enjoying it more. I guess taking breaks help in some way? Also, I looove the soldier gang (the one Heyan is teams with) so much! They definitely need more screentime. I tend to be up for the friendship / gangs in dramas so I think that was a bummer for me how little screentime they got. Anyways, I really missed them! So nice seeing them again (I'm on ep 25 rn)!
