Yeah, after ep 17, it just went downhill 😭 The deaths were too much!! And when everyone else was dying and Shrimp was left, I was like, "Please, not the boy! Please! 😭" And then ofc... That was too much... And the drama didn't feel the same after... First 17 eps were more interesting. Luckily no ofher character I loved and cherished d1ed after except maybe the ML which wasn't really shown thankfully.

Btw this is so random but I just checked your dropped dramas and how come many of your completed dramas are there?

The chemistry between the leads is really one of my favorites. It really warms my heart and makes me emotional to see how much Tian Yao and Yan Hui love and care for each other here. I will miss them so much when I finish! I can only hope these two reunite in another drama like maybe a wuxia this time? They really would slay so hard. I can only imagine how cool they'd be in one together aahhh!! If I'm being honest, this is the only Neo Hou drama that I've watched where I actually like and enjoy the romance between him and his female co-star. Like finally xD I think I'm really gonna love his next two xianxias tho which I look forward to!

Also omg they always play Neo Hou's song in the drama! I ain't complaining tho... I really can't get over it... His voice is so beautiful. I'd consider it my favorite OST in the drama too!

Haha dang... I didn't like LBFAD that much either and it was one of my first xianxias, but I love TU and LYF! Understandable tho. I can understand why you might not like those.

Nah we're the same. I noticed that I don't really like xianxias in the heavenly realm and tbh find that if so much of it takes place there, then it gets so boring. But I guess it depends on the drama bc I did like ALP for example. Also now I'm curious which dramas you didn't like lol.

Who else watched Leon Zhang in Ancient Love Poetry? That was one of my first dramas and I remember loving Leon Zhang's (Jing Jian) pairing with Zhang Yaqin (Feng Ran)~ They were such a beautiful couple that it makes me lowkey miss them while watching this 😆🤧

I am liking his pairing with Liu Shishi here, but as much as I thought about it, I couldn't understand why and how Hongye and Huaizhu fell in love. Oh well. But I love how strong both of them are, so I'll take that! 😍 Hope to see their chemistry bloom more in the future! 🔥

I just finished ep 10 and I'm really loving this drama so far! I didn't expect we'd also get a time-travel element here which is smth I really enjoy watching and it's really interesting so far! Also can I just say how much I love the Yitan and Zui pairing? They're so cute and badass 🥹🤧🔥 Can't wait to see other characters and pairings in future eps! 😍

I'm literally on that ep and they frickin' made me bawl my eyes out so much... Why they gotta torture us this early in the show? 😭

I didn't even think about it, but in Love in Pavilion, we see a Liu Shishi and Chen Youwei reunion! And guess what? A group of friends, including Chen Youwei's character, literally ships Liu Shishi's character with the ML... Lmao the parallels omg I love this! Just a fun TMI of a reunion in another drama of two characters from this drama hehe!

Oh wait I see it on the "Coming Soon" area! It seems like I'll be able to watch it yayayay!! And I like using Viki bc not only does it have the best subs but it's sm fun reading the comments~ It's a bummer you can't use Viki bc they don't have a lot of dramas for you :(

Oh dang you love bromance? This drama has one of my favorite bromances tbh haha maybe you should try to continue? It's gonna hit harder as you watch. It made me emotional a lot. Very, very strong bromance.

Hint of a small spoiler but not too much of a spoiler which maybe you'll figure out by the end (don't forget to watch the special): Their first scene together is almost like a parallel to the last scene of the drama and it's honestly a beauty.

Anyways, since you like bromance (I'd guess BL is also what you mean), maybe try The Spirealm. I recommend it a lot. This one has a tighter and easy plot to follow, and it's very addicting too. Censorship in question? I think not (I mean, ML is obvious lmao), and idk how they did it since it was just released last year.

Yeah, I get why ppl drop this far ahead even~ The tone changes a lot by ep 16 and that might change your opinion of the drama? I can't guarantee bc idk your taste, but I've seen some ppl who dropped at like eps 8-9 but when they tried again they ended up loving it. Hope you do end up liking it at least, and if not, that's okay too!

So we're really getting a Moonlight Mystique reunion omg this makes me so happy!!

I love the FL here! She is so strong even after everything she goes thru! I believe you'll love her character, and hey, it's Zhao Lusi too :) Liu Yuning is also the ML. If you like the second couple in TLB, I recommend this <3 Currently watching this so I'm not sure how the second half will be like.

-Princess Agents
I dropped this but I'm thinking of picking it back up in the future, but FL is so cool here so far! I see you enjoyed The Legend of Shen Li, so you might enjoy this one too since it's the same leads!

-Love of the Divine Tree
FL is such a badass but more-so as Mu Qingge which unfortunately we didn't get to see enough of, but her reincarnation is still a great one! If you want more badass throughout, then idk. I think in a way this is similar to L&R where the FL is more innocent in majority of their current life and still has a kind and sweet nature, but then becomes more badass as she grows and slowly gains her memories~ Same director as L&R (which I see you loved)!

-I am Nobody
Modern wuxia~ FL is such a badass but also such a cutie! One of my favorite FLs xD And the drama is really entertaining as well! Very, very unique from other dramas imo!

-Legend of Fei
I you like The Untamed & Wang Yibo, then you might like this~ FL is Zhao Liying as well... Honestly, basically anything Zhao Liying atp lol~ I haven't watched this but want to in the future!

-The Blossoming Love
Haven't watched this but learnt how the FL is strong here! Smth I wanna watch in the future as well bc it looks really interesting~ If you love her in TTEOTM, you might end up loving her here too!

I haven't watched too many historical C-dramas yet, so I can't recommend too many! There's so many future dramas to look forward to tho! The Legend of the Female General, Lament of the River Immortal / Feud, The Wanted Detective, Hidden Shadow, Coroner's Diary, Shadow Love, Cheng He Ti Tong (How Dare You?), Love Beyond the Grave, etc.! I'm not sure if every single one of them are strong FLs, but I believe so, at least most of them!

Yes omg pls watch AJTL! You will love it! The found family here is truly one of the best I've seen so far! Liu Yuning and Alen Fang's chemistry is also just so so good, compared to the bland one in TLB LOL! Here's just one clip as a teaser, and for the rest, you will see it as you watch AJTL! Honestly, I see plenty of ppl feel the same way as you and I can see why. I also wouldn't say I'm the most fond of him lol but I think he's at least decent. I also looked a bit thru Advance Bravely but I don't think it's my taste either tbh!

Also, how about A Journey to Love? FL is an assassin and such a badass, Liu Yuning is the ML, and Alen Fang is there too! They have such a lovely friendship in this drama compared to TLB! It's actually funny a lot of the time too hahaha you will know what I mean when you watch~ You are gonna LOVE Alen Fang's character so much more here! And Liu Yuning's character is also such a great ML! I'd say it's my favorite character of his I've watched so far! I think you can't miss out on this one! I can also give you more recommendations if you want :)

Maybe Who Rules the World? I haven't watched that yet, but I read that she's a strong FL character and has a mature relationship with her male counterpart, maybe even more so than in here! Also, FL is Zhao Lusi, so I think it'd be cool to watch her as an even stronger character this time! It's honestly smth I wanna watch in the future too :)
