This is not your typical average romcom drama, and I'm glad it's not. The storyline is intriguing, and it keeps me guessing going back for more. I don't believe witches exist, but their are some people in the world that claim they're witches. It brings to the question, what is the FL possessing that's causing injuries and death to the men that like her? Curses? There's no scientific beliefs that curses and witches are real. Even though this is a made up story for this drama, I keep asking myself What is wrong with the FL character? I do agree, per some comments, that the drama is slow, but I see it as a build up to a very different type of story. Main complaints about this drama I read? Stalking. One could argue this, but it's not Stalking. He's into data and statistics, trying to figure out the truth so she can hopefully live a normal life. Yes he likes her, but I see it as helping her. Most stalkers bring harm, and sometimes death to their prey, but this isn't the case. The leads are doing a great job conveying their emotions, and the FL is so good in playing her character with facial and body gestures. Will continue to watch till the end.
I have watched only the first episode and although a little confusing at first, it now makes more sense. It was kind of predictable of what was going to happen, because I knew the FL was up to no good. Honestly, they are all shady, so far. Interesting story, and will definitely keep watching.
Glad to see IU back again. I like her as an actress. Never been into Park Bo Gum. I think I have watched maybe a couple of his dramas, but was never impressed by his acting. I do have this on my list to watch this drama.
Why is everyone so horny in this? are Kdramas slowly taking the American route?
So only Americans have sex? sex isn't a bad thing, so why are you freaking out on these supposedly minor explicit scenes? If those scenes bother you, us Americans, with our over sexualized selves, would put you in tizzy!!!!......I'm being sarcastic, kidding, however please know that Koreans have sex.
I will watch anything Lee Dong Wook is in!!!!! This man is just...... everything!!!! another one of my most favorite actors. So ready to watch this one. Kwang Soo????? so glad to see him in more dramas.
Okay, we need to start seeing more of Kim Ji Hoon as a lead. This man is such a great actor. Either he's in a supporting role, or it's a ensemble cast. Also don't want to see him in a lot of romcoms. Seeing him in thrillers, fantasy roles, or something totally different would be great.
He has always been one of my most favorite actors. He can act in any genre. Also, I think he's so handsome!!! So glad to see Park Eu Bin back. She's a great actor as well. Can't wait to see this drama. So excited!!!!
I really wanted to like this drama, went back at least twice, and I couldn't get interested in it. It reminded me a little bit of Our Beloved Summer, which I dropped that as well. It's not the actors, it's how the stories are written. Love romcoms, but just didn't do it for me. Now let me say this......please don't respond to my comment with why, because I just gave my reason. Please learn that everyone's taste isn't the same, we are all different in what we like and don't like. Please respect that.
First episode started off a little slow, but the second episode I liked better, and it even showed more about the FL, even though there were repeats from the first episode. It's interesting because I want to know what's causing all of these mishaps in her life in regards to men. Hopefully it will come out as to why things are happening the way they are, and the cause. So far, I do like it.
Over the years, as I’ve learned more about Korean society, I’ve come to realize how deeply toxic and suffocating…
L oved your post. I don't think there's anything to add except that Korea need to desperately need to put Mental Health facilities in place. The suicide rate there is atrocious. It's sad that the only way out in most of their mindsets is suicide, which isn't the answer. I feel so sorrow for this actress, and I have watched quite a few of her dramas.
I truly think you're taking this story to serious. It's a fictitious Joseon story. I'm not saying you have to like it, because that is your choice, and I respect your opinion. I like it because it's something different, and not the same old stories that we see in historical dramas.
I loved this drama - but am totally with you. Every person is different and so can their like/dislikes towards…
Thank you for being so kind and understanding. The reasons why I join platforms like this is because I like discussing dramas, whether liked or dislike in an adult manner. I think it's sad thar some people actually get upset if you don't like a drama. It's so mind boggling, and it takes the fun out of everything. I can honestly say I felt the same way about When The Phone Rings. It was not what I expected it to be. I did watch in it's entirety, but I barely made it through. I have been an avid kdrama watcher for about 14 years, and I love kdramas, also Japanese dramas. I said I would go back and try watching the Trauma drama again, to give it another chance. I don't know, but anyway thanks again, and Happy Drama watching to you as well!!😊😊
Why not? I love their comedy, that got me enjoying this so much
You just proved my point, and I am definitely not upset or need calming. The thing is with grown ass adults, we can agree to disagree right? If you commented that you didn't like a drama, I will accept it as that. Everyone that replied to me asking me again about the drama, when I stated why, then people are getting pissed. Believe me, it takes a lot to upset me. Just accept my reasoning and know that we all don't have the same taste in what we watch. Take care

Will we ever see the day when a person states they don't care for a drama, it's okay? Not trying to be rude, but it's my opinion. What you might like, I won't, vice versa. From last year and going into this year so far, I haven't been impressed with a lot of dramas. The ones I did like LightShop, Killee Paradise, Blackout, Connection, Queen of Tears, Unmasked, Study Group, Motel California, and the Queen who Crowns. I might go back to Trauma. Just right now I don't have the interest for it.
I'm going to be honest. I don't care for the show. Why???? it's trying to be comical, when it's not needed. I thought this was going to be a serious medical drama like Grey's Anatomy, ER, or The Pitt, all-American medical shows. Why do shows like this have to be stupid with the unnecessary comic side. Might go back and watch, but not now.
Seems that people are sleeping on this drama. I have never been a historical drama watcher, unless it had something to do with zombies, but I decided to give this one a try and it hasn't been a disappointment. Very intriguing drama, powerful, and keeps you on your toes. This is definitely a must watch.
