I understand all of that, but he didnt really have to reveal his entire life story and real identity just like that is all im saying. He could have kept up his guard only giving bits and pieces but i guess he already smitten with her so he doesn't care.

Him revealing his real identity to her felt kinda random or out of place, like the writers just could not wait any longer and wanted to get it out of the way.

The choreography is great, and ost is serviceable (not that i am actively paying attention to it much)

Since the very start of the drama everything we heard about Consort Shu has been pretty bad, only her interactions with Peiyi make her look like a "good" person. Everything else has been pretty much horror stories with multiple cases involving her servants.
