Yeah, it wasnt done well as a mystery. However, it did its job moving WB and his dad from point persona non grata to point we can attempt to breath the same air without launching nukes. Still it was the poorest and weakest handled exposition of the whole show.

The novel had alot of sexy times. So your mind is in line with the novel. And Im on board with them progressing except it feels like they’ve been so low key and this is hyper drive. Im not sure this is from the novel because I skimmed alot. I didnt always find the sexy times sexy cause of the dubcon/rape aspects.

Lets hope the accident is the very next episode so we get three episode worth of closure and happiness after it is done. While Id love a season 2, I really want this to have a final conclusion in case the loophole they are exploiting is fixed or the actors get banned from each other.

The “exercise” scene feels blatantly fade to black. Is there any other meaning I am forgetting from earlier episodes? Cause Im kind of loving it but super confused because it feels sudden.

Okay the “exercise” scene is killing me. In the best way. Unless, am I misunderstanding it?

It could go the deeply committed brotherhood of two emotionally isolated boys route or a full on romance between two innocent teenagers. It honestly would feel queerbaity if they go the brotherhood route after the last two episodes. However, its such a good story anyway. If it turns out to be just found family, Id probably forgive it because its still leagues ahead of almost every other found family story.

She is the best sister or little kid character Ive seen in forever!

Yeah, Im hoping there really is a plot (because of someone other than the parents) rather than its all a senseless tragedy where misinformation led WB to hate his dad for literally no reason. Because if it is all senseless that would make this whole mystery arc satisfying for resolving the misunderstandings but not very righteous feeling since there is no villain you can hold accountable.

I love that he confiscated it. And than turned around and tried to get SY to read it. :-p

Right?! I was so intent waiting for Mr. Mo to finally do or say something other than irrationally flex his power on a teenage boy in dangerously stupid ways. We get that one surprise statement about SY’s mom and than end credits! Thank goodness that wasnt the cliffhanger before the long break.

They are simpatico. He accepts every bit of her and was the first one to pick up on her awareness of what happened to her dad. Meanwhile she embraced him completely as her brother when she went to fetch him back after he was “lost.”

I think they are building back to that. Because the four of them are interacting again with nice scammer lady’s son now front and center to show that “yeah she committed a cruel fraud but she wasn’t lying about doing it to try to support her very ill son. So uncle may step up to donate to get money for her kid. Seems like a total uncle

The second one. But the first one fits his character really well.

Open to interpretation. No explicit kisses etc. but very comfortable with each other physically and emotionally attached. Its either going to end up a very intense while innocent BL or a bromance about found family. Time will tell.

I love the dichotomy of his deep friendship and loyalty to the ML paired with his own work ambitions. Its got a better foundational set up than most dramas that have this kind of best friends but boss and subordinate at work dynamic. They play the power imbalance for laughs but it also further highlights how lacking the ML is in relationships with true un-conflicted intimacy. The person closest to him had ulterior motives that cant be put aside lightly. But you are right. They make the bestie the clown of the show a-lot and it can be frustrating.

But so cute :)
