Forced to? Didnt they have a super complex selection process back than? Or maybe I misread that synopsis.

Maybe she kidnaps him because she wants to marry him, in which case, the reason could make or break the story.

Id almost prefer she was selected and kidnaps him to avoid marrying him. Not that that makes sense. But it would be funny.

My money is on minwhan dying in his place.

It is pretty funny watching them be awful to each other. Plus no danger they’ll have a kid and abuse them. It would be an appropriate end.

Its not like she didnt sleep with him when they were together. However, I dont think she has to go that far. Just convince Minwhan that without Sumin he could have Jiwon.

That might be why the webtoon chose to remove her from the webtoon. They thought she was cliche and unnecessary.

Im enjoying her. She feels like the test that proves Jiwon can face new adversity without her future knowledge advantage.

Plus she’s funny. The way she despises Minwhan and toys with him is hilarious.

Its all coming together. Jiwon will seduce Minwhan. He’ll conspire to kill Sumin. Than they both get their comeuppance.

She was in webnovel. Webtoon apparently streamlined and removed alot. It was a much more straightforward and effortless win for Jiwon than this is.

I actually like this better. She really is having to fight to change her fate and face new hurdles to make the happy life she wants.

Fair. They are more like the tertiary couple since the evil ex husband and evil ex bestie are the secondary. I dont think a sixteen episode arc could do them justice, but they were kind of an afterthought in the webtoon too. So if it’s at least as sweet at that was, I’ll be happy.

At that point he assumed hes going to
die because of his fate. A dead man cant protect her. So he’s giving her sufficient means to protect herself and live a happy life. Just like he came up with a will that ensures their cat will be cared for even after he dies.

Her dad is the MVP for many reasons but that scene really clarified. Cause if she knew, her dad probably knew.

She has to get Sumin to take her fate. Minwhan conspired to let her die of cancer so he could get the insurance. Imagine what he’ll do to Sumin to get her out of the way so he can be with Jiwon and her 80 billion.

I dont expect Jiwon will have to do much to seduce him.

Now they have more of a reason to interact and fall in love? Someone has to protect Eunho from evil ex-fiance.

That was actually a plan she had in the web toon for a minute. The web toon her was not smarter.

She’s trying to make him think he can be with her and her 80 billion won. Than why would he need Sumin anymore?

She doesnt have to sleep with him. Just make him think he has a chance. He’s deluded enough to buy it. Once he does, just like he did for her cancer insurance, he’ll contrive a way to kill Sumin.

No more risk to Jiwon, Juran or anyone else getting Jiwon’s fate.

I liked her in the boxing scene. She was weirdly cute getting her evil manipulation flirt on. Plus she’s already said she hates cheaters almost as much as she hates those weak enough to be cheated on. You know that punch was part of her messing with Minwhan who she looks down on.

The rigidity I associate with the social class she’s playing. She’s entitled and thinks she’s better than everyone. So she doesnt open up to people at all.

Lol, the 1993 version would be my favorite. But at this point Jiwon probably hates her too much to try.
