I am so happy and... I am ready for a war to break out right now!!! They literally teased us with his little almost…
I was unhappy with Sumin’s backstory too. Maybe they’ll show more. Not sure if webtoon changed the web novel reasons but the webtoon showed a weird psychological abuse Sumin suffered that made her think it was the kid’s fault if their parents left. She was being punished so why wasnt Jiwon? That seemed like a stronger start to her toxic need to control and compare herself to Jiwon.
Everything is Sumin’s crappy choices but part of me wonders if Jiwon hadnt tried to protect her but instead said “your dad sucks and my mom sucks, want to be sisters and ignore them” if that would have changed anything. Probably not. Sumin was too spoiled and entitled. They likely would have become enemies younger.
Okay Iam about to give an unpopular opinion....I read the webtoon that everyone is trying to compare the drama…
Fully agree. My only complaint in comparison so far is I like seeing how awful Sumin’s mom was in the webtoon. That psychology made more sense to me. But we still have several episodes, so they may come back to it and reveal more. Even if they dont, that confrontation scene between the girls was amazing. I can be content trading.
Soo min self- victim mentality has no obstacles, it's beyond line. If people in a relationship caught cheating,…
I didnt like how they showed that.
Webtoon spoiler:
The webtoon (which maybe changed something from the book the drama is based on) showed Sumin started blaming Jiwon because her mother blamed Sumin for the dad leaving. If its the kids fault parent’s leave, and Sumin was being punished by her mom, why wasnt Jiwon being punished by her dad? That thought started this really twisted obsession and comparison.
I do love that this show decided Jiwon knew the truth and reacted like a normal kind person would.
ep 13 was slightly better than 12 but I still feel annoyed over the sheer amount of annoying characters. Why am…
She may have assumed the driver had a seizure or fell asleep or the steering wheel locked at the same time the break failed…yes that seemed like an obvious premeditation but I give her props for not assuming. Thats actually smarter.
That preview?! Wtf she’s gonna go back to seducing her ex?! I am done if she really be sleeping with him just…
She just has to make it so he thinks they will be together. That’ll change his behavior towards his wife. She doesn’t have to do very much to convince him. He’s an idiot.
one of the very reasons why this was ruined for me was the fl reaction and they way she behaved this whole ep…
I cant predict what the drama will do but given this is based on the web novel not the web toon and they’ve followed the web novel well so far, getting the ML hurt sealed this chicks fate. His sister and grandpa will make sure she does suffer consequences. The father of rich bitch owes their family so she’s crossed a major line.
I also understand where she is coming from. I never once said she should ignore her traumatic experience, but…
I don’t disagree with your last point. But I suspect she wont realize he really loves her cause he sacrifices himself. She’ll instead confront how much she loves him and that she does already know who he is and knows she could never become her worst fear with him.
Webtoon spoiler
The coma arc was always over the top but its in the webtoon too. I expect it’ll be fun here.
Judging from the title "marry my husband", I thought this series had ended when Su-min and Hwan got married (ep11-12).…
Sumin is nothing like Jiwon. She wont automatically get all of her fate transferred if its not something she’s capable of receiving. So now we enter the arc of how that marriage works out and the kind of vengeance that does happens. Revenge never works the way you think it will.
Plus FL is still growing towards her happiness and her two best friends have their own love lines to follow. We’ve got lots of good stuff coming.
Was ep 12 really that bad? Wanted to catch up but if it’s bad I might wait until it’s finished.
I think it really progressed several plotlines and presented a challenge to out FL that forces her to confront her previous traumas and show she has changed by reacting as the strong woman she has become. She is still going through it as of the end of ep 12. So it doesn’t end on the up beat the last few episodes have. If you dont like stressful arcs maybe wait to watch it along with ep 13 and 14.
Agreed! I don’t even want to finish watching this last episode. I’m not understanding why she is so upset…
Thats a second to fourth date conversation. Not the super detailed version, but hey Ive been engaged before should come up in that time.
Given they’ve been close friends with her sharing all of her deepest and most vulnerable secrets for months, I do think he messed up slightly by not reciprocating because its not that he doesnt trust her. He just doesnt think to prioritize his own feelings or experiences. He bottles it all up. Thats part of his trauma response. Her breaking up with him was her trauma response. Neither of them were right and both are understandable. When they do work through these issues they’ll be healthier individuals and a happier couple.
Webtoon spoiler theory:
We are entering the coma arc from the webtoon. So Im guessing the biggest secret he’s been hiding, his impending death, will be revealed in a letter-kind of like how in the webtoon he revealed he also regressed to the past in a letter. Should be good to have all his secrets out.
I gotta say, every character in this drama is flawed.Anyone dissing Ji won doesn't get what she's been through.…
Well said on Jiwon. I too appreciate this step in her journey. Its almost necessary to show she has grown beyond her bad coping mechanisms from her last life. She’s confronted by a new antagonist she has no previous knowledge of and her worst traumas betrayal and abandonment. Can she find her way through with the strength and self esteem she’s been cultivating?
I also like this arc cause it highlights the ML’s flaws that he needs to overcome. Specifically his tendency not to share about his life until it becomes a problem. He is too use to bottling up his emotions and carrying everything inside. That might seem like consideration but more often it leads to your partner not having a solid sense of who you are or where your relationship stands.
It just feels frustrating because we the viewers know a lot more about him than she does. If people take off that viewers lens, I think her reaction would make sense to more.
Consider how it would feel to be with a partner you want to trust despite all your past experiences of trusting blowing up in your face only to have a stranger show up and demonstrate your new partner may have lied.
I love how ep 12 brought jiwon's deepest emotion to the surface. and we got to learn why she did what she did…
Well said. While I dont love that ML was hurt, I do really appreciate that she dropped someone she felt hurt by. Thats a huge improvement for her and part of her journey to recognizing who she can trust without sacrificing herself.

Even that would be better than what they are now.
