A few things about ep 12- I don’t understand why she can’t forgive ji hyeok for breaking off an engagement?…
1. Her reaction is true to her character. She’s clearly working through it. Its really her ethics vs her heart. That end scene at her father’s grave shows she knows it was a mistake and she’s still working through it. With ex husband Minwhan she didnt care if she hurt because he murdered her. But even there, he was the cheater first in both timelines. So the break up wasnt leaving an otherwise good person for a selfish reason and abandoning all responsibility for the pain you caused them. Thats what the FL feels like the ML did because she’s emotionally confusing it with her own situation with her mom. 2. I love the ML Jihyuk but he isnt actually the best at sharing his own truths. Plus that woulf be a lie. He didnt break up with evil fiance because she’s a psychopath. He broke up with her because he realized he loved someone else so he and she could never be the family he hoped for. 3. I do agree she is not supporting the ML perfectly. Given her whole journey has been learning not to unconditionally support people who dont deserve it, this is growth. And she’s still growing. Now that she knows how to set boundaries she needs to learn who she can trust unconditionally. She’ll get there. 4. The ex husband noticed his wife’s symptoms of cancer and rather than suggest she get checked out, he took out a huge life insurance policy. Also, while giggling about this in bed with him the ex bestie suggested she speed Jiwan’s death along by pushing her off something. So these two being motivated by money and murderous is consistent. 5. Please spoiler tag your questions.
Do jiwon really consider sunim as her best friend? In present or past, does she really?.What are her initial thoughts…
Sort of. She consider sumin the only person she could trust. She accepted her flaws for that reason . And that trust was broken in a spectacularly painful fashion. There comes a point where reasons dont matter and you just want someone out of your life. But since fate is set and can only be transfered, jiwon decided rather than let some poor innocent suffer miwhan, give that fate to sumin. Clearly its not working exactly like she planned. It didnt in the webtoon as well. Sumin is a different person so someone more like jiwon will get her fate. But the marriage is hell, so it kind of worked. And it was sumin’s choices that led to that marriage. Jiwon didnt force her and it barely qualifies as entrapment since we already know sumin what have gone after minwhan on her own.
The question isnt whether jiwon considered them best friends. The question is what the hell does sumin consider them? Cause she doesnt and has never acted like a friend yet alone a close one.
It does have a cliffhanger. But it’ll work out fine. Im guessing we aree now entering…
Webtoon and ep 12 spoiler ahead:
The coma arc. Which is in the webtoon and pretty popular with fans. Plus nearly killing him pretty much resolves the evil ex fiance. Once gramps finds out she’s done. So its stressful but happening this early gives me hope we’ll get to spend a whole episode on their happy ending.
What doctor would leave finger prints on a vile that was used during a surgery? Like are the judges that stupid?
I agree its dumb. But for sake of argument a prosecutor might speculate: if he had to hide the vial on his person or in the room somewhere so others wouldnt find it, he than might not be able to dispose of it till after he removed his surgical gloves. And in the panic forgot them. Or vice versus when he was originally hiding it to use during surgery.
40mins into the first episode and I want to make a prediction. I think that Jeong Woo's client/patient was never…
That would make some of the rational fails in his trial make more sense. More than just the anesthesiologist might be getting paid off. End of episode 4 will add an interesting twist to your theory. It still works.z
I think sumin never received love and doesn’t know that she had Ji won’s love before , and just wanted a familyI…
Webtoon spoiler:
She was horrifically emotionally and psychologically abused by her mother. However, while I pity child her and I know our FL unintentionally enabled her unhealthy coping mechanisms, she’s got to suffer some consequences to have any chance to change. If they follow webtoon, her rock bottom is super low and littered with the suffering of others. She was too far gone to help during the timeline of the story.
The grandpa probably told her family that they can not be together because of which she showed up.
They said in earlier episodes Grandpa told the family but he wanted ML to tell the ex fiance. That is why ML went to Japan several episodes back. Looking at previews it looks like she is just a controlling princess type.
Not in the show. Its implied sometime after their marriage she passes either due her illness or complications from the drug they were testing to treat her illness. We do not see her death and you csn read the ending like she didnt die. They even have a kid. Dont miss out. Its a good show.
I hate that too. Im okay if they do some delays on them getting together due to miscommunication or insecurity about their situations. I just dont want a pointless breakup. Its so rarely done in a way thats believable.
First time I watched ep 9 I didn't realize and completely missed the real reason Su-Min gifted Ji-Won the cooking…
It was still an asshole move cause she did it manipulatively. Like a spouse who beats their significant other and than apologizes and buys them presents afterwards.

Its still a very very weak theory.
