Kdrama be like :Ep 1 to 10 : Everything is fine ML and FL are in love Ep 11 : Random girl "Hello , i'm the wife…
Ha, doubt it. Webtoon spoiler:
His coma in the webtoon was a big deal and the letter he left her to read resolved some things . I bet we are heading for coma ville and than they are back together. Other users who have read the web novel (which this is based on) said the sister and grandpa takes care of the crazy ex fiance.
"No matter what the relationship is, once it's started, I don't think it's right for one person to end it one-sidedly."Unless…
I dont think she cared about her mom seeking love so much as the way her mom unilaterally abandoned them. This wasnt a healthy divorce where the couple discusses there feelings, choose to divorce and co-parent. She walked out like she’d never had a family. It was a shit move.
Don't be upset that this drama is more about the protagonist repeatedly trying to defy fate than it is about getting…
…you went very dark and now this possibility will remain in my mind until the bitter end. Fortunately, I understand the web comic epilogue endings are fairly similar in web novel. So unless they change the ending, this wont happen.
Even taking her trauma into account, her entire argument is so nonsensical I feel like I'm hallucinating because…
Emotions tied to trauma arent logical. Here she was devastated twice in her life by adulterous affairs and she finds out she might be in one. I appreciate that she didnt just stay with another person who may have crossed her boundaries. In the past she was always unconditionally giving to horrible people. She’s grown enough not to do that anymore. Now she just has to become strong enough to see who she can give unconditional trust to.
I also consider this half the ML’s fault. He’s awesome. But he does tend to hide negative things instead of being upfront. How much easier would it have been for her to hear him fairly if he’d told her why he was going on that Japan trip however many episodes back.
I'm really over the typical plot of ML sacrifice or needs to save FL and getting gravely injured. It happens in…
I agree its overdone. However, here it kind of works. Since his fate is to be in a car accident, now he is. Im curious about how he’ll survive.
Webtoon Spoiler:
In webtoon there is a whole arc where he saves her and goes into a coma. He writes a beautiful letter where he confesses all the things he’s kept hidden from her. She thought he was dying cause he took on her death fate. Which is weird since he had his own death fate. Either way, when he does wake up they were stronger than ever with all secrets gone. And its stated he woke up cause her dad helped him overcome the original fate of dying.
I read a comment on tiktok saying they feel bad for su min now that things are taking a toll on her and damn really.....like…
Haha. That poster may have known more about Sumin’s backstory and sympathized with how it twisted her. That being said, even though I also sympathize, the whole problem in their relationship was Sumin using Jiwon as an emotional whipping girl while Jiwon enabled Sumin (she knew she was twisted as shown by the early lunchroom spill scene) and so Sumin never learned to cope with her trauma in a better way.
Now without each other, Jiwon is overcoming her trauma cause she’s awesome. Maybe Sumin can too if she finally faces real consequences for her actions. But she’s honestly so far gone, I dont know that she can be fixed.
Over reacting? She is just reacting as per her past experiences and traumas...she just healed from having a cheating…
Or he could have shared everything with her before she found out the way she did. I love him but he does tend to only show her positive things when he can. How much easier would it be to hear someone out about something that triggers you when they tell you themself before you are triggered. Thats why everything he said sounded like excuses.
Im actually proud of her for reconsidering someone who appeared to act badly. Thats growth from the unconditional acceptance she gave to all the horrible people in her life before. She finally sets boundaries and standards.
We know he’s a genuine person. She should go through the process of doubting and overcoming that doubt in order for the unconditional trust she will give him later to feel earned rather than like she still hasnt learned her lessons.
Feels like there is so much they need to tidy up with only 5 episodes left. Also dissapointed them getting together…
Webtoon spoiler:
We are entering the coma arc. Once he wakes up nothing shakes them. I appreciated they took an episode to show us her working through her emotional baggage before the coma and letter where he finally shares everything fix things. She was almost there on her own if that scene at her dad’s grave is anything to go by.
in ep 11 she literally pushed herself onto him she knew that he liked her but still trying to push her away but…
He said he wasnt worthy of her and she pushed because she believed he was. He didnt say “I broke up with a fiance to be with you.” Or “I’ll be dead in 10 years from a card accident so I want to spare you pain.” Having him tell her might have changed her responses.
She always unconditionally accepted everything from those she loved. Even when they were crappy. Her journey has been leaning not to do that. This episode showed her growth. She didnt accept something she found unacceptable. Now she needs to learn how to tell who she can trust even when they make a mistake. She clearly was almost there at the end of this episode.
she gave up on him so easily she doesn't deserve him
He didnt tell her about his future death, the situation with his fiance, or really anything that wasnt positive. She even had to figure out their past on her own.
Dont get me wrong I love his character. Every inch of his introverted, protective, overly sensitive and secretive giant self. Despite always being there for her, he hasnt often allowed her to be there for him unless he was too weak to hide his pain. Like when he was sick. He lets his emotional baggage cause weirdness in their relationship. Why cant she?
She use to give in to those she loved unconditionally even when they behaved horribly. She’s learned to set boundaries. Now she has to learn how to tell who she can trust unconditionally. That last scene at her dad’s grave shows she’s getting there. She is regretting hurting him.
Webtoon spoiler:
Plus now with the accident we get the coma and letter arc everyone loves from the webtoon.
It was horrible. How can you doubt someone who has done so much for her? And this ex-fiancée is some kind of…
They are following the novel. You may want to spoiler tag this. Also, I actually really liked this. Now we’ll get the coma arc with the letter. The evil fiance basically sealed her fate by being involved with the accident that sent him into a coma. I’m even enjoy that FL has learned to not unconditionally support people who dont deserve it. Her next step is to realize who she can trust and be unconditional with.

I hope. 😰

This episode was great.
And now we get the coma arc with the letter. Webtoon fans and those complaining he didnt explain his future death to her should be happy.
