Even if it was about her father's assassination, as a reporter, she should have known full well to stay objective as much as possible.
But nope, she gave up everything about being objective, thus, she is failing to see that she got an incomplete, and largely false, conclusion. She's acting like a cornered rat when no one's cornered her.
She's practically just a pawn in chess that should have been eliminated right from the beginning. You know, the sacrificial pawn. And the only person protecting her is the very person she is doing her best to bring down with her false accusations.
Though, she doesn't have to worry, because the only person protecting her will take the blame to protect her long lost brother. In the end, Hae Soo's false accusations will become real.
Once Tae Ra's dead and branded as the assassin of the former President, I wonder how Hae Soo will further destroy her life, and everyone around her, when she finds out the entire truth. I can't wait to see that, it would be the best ending. Bittersweet.
Guys! The show has been invited to The Cannes International festival!! This is a milestone for all involved and…
Hmm… actually, the “Cannes International Festival”, or more correctly known as the “Cannes Film Festival” or formerly as “International Film Festival”, is different from “Canneseries” or the “Cannes International Series Festival”. ;) (see: https://canneseries.com)
Then there is also the “International Games Festival” and “Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity”, both of which also use the label “Cannes International Festival”. Thus, you have to be specific which “Cannes International Festival” it is. Heheheh.
Anyway… if the English speakers here in kisskh is any indication, we can only hope it will receive a good feedback in the Canneseries. Here in the Philippines, it did receive good feedback than compared to the comments here. ;) I guess there is hope.
Season 1 has 12 episodes total, divided into Part 1 and Part 2. You can tell it is because [1] they never announced it as Season 2; and [2] it's the same story arc.
A Season 2 has to be officially declared; and a new Season always have a different story arc. ;)
That said… maybe there will be a Season 2 if the reaction in the international scene is very positive, like the Cannes International Series Festival (a.k.a. Canneseries).
Is someone french?I am curious how good they really speak french in this drama? How's the pronounication?
I'm erring on ‘bad’. Even locally, here in the Philippines, when actors have lines with a language they never studied before, most of the time it was bad. You generally don't have to understand the language, you'll notice how each letter, vowel, syllable, were pronounced too hard or clearly. It was like teaching an elementary student.
Yes, there are actors who do take time to practice their other language lines, but more often than not, it's not needed since the primary target market is your local country. It doesn't have to be perfect.
Like in this case, their primary market is Korea, and since majority only speak Korean and English, probably Japanese, too, getting French correctly doesn't really matter. Sometimes even the translation is bad because they used Bing or Google translate. Hahah.
Me: You DO NOT want her to speak! She wants to tell you everything, and what did you do? YOU SLAPPED HER!Not only…
Yep, it does look like he did.
Although, it seems he intentionally avoided hitting vital nerves? He probably was taken aback when his sister just stared at him. Her eyes were like, "I am so glad you are still alive, I thought you really died“.
Maybe this will be the start of a potential alliance.
So, One Dollar Lawyer and Taxi Driver are in a shared-universe. ^_^
TD ML in One Dollar Lawyer: 1. He was probably undercover as a celebrity when ODL ML saw him.
ODL ML in Taxi Driver S2: 1. Showed up as the One Dollar Lawyer character. 2. He kept repeating, “you are handsome”. He probably remembers seeing TD ML as a celebrity. 3. ODL ML knew what TD ML's line-of-work is, the secret. And ODL ML is very good at digging up secrets. But TD ML doesn't know him, LOL. Which is just about right, as far as the personality and network of ODL ML.
Anyway, just wishful thinking how the timeline fits. One thing is for sure, they are in a shared-universe after this week's cameo of ODL as ODL. ^_^
Maybe Hae Soo's character is a representation of those real life reporters. ROFL.

Though, I like how they tied the two shows together as existing in the same universe. I like those kind of stories.

No one believes that No. 50 really had an amnesia. It seems only Pyo Jae Hyun and his sister-in-law knew No. 50 did have an amnesia.
Nasty twists and turns. It's amazing the writer and director can follow everything. ^_^;;
- I suspect he was the one who ordered the assassination.
Second Player: Pyo Jae Hyun
- It is still an unknown what is his agenda. But definitely he is against Kumjo and he is using the Assassin team.
Third Player: Assassin team
- They work with the highest bidder. In the past, Kumjo hired them, so they did.
- In the present, Pyo Jae Hyun hired them.
The interesting thing is that neither Kumjo nor the Asssassins knew Pyo Jae Hyun is moving by himself; and have his own agenda.
From Pyo Jae Hyun's perspective, everything is working for him. Kumjo's power is getting weaker, and thus, his political enemies as well.
At the same time, he is keeping the Assassins close to him so he can continually use them, and then discard them once he becomes President.
For example, there is now no doubt he is fully aware that his wife is No. 50.
He probably is aware that No. 105, the bodyguard, is his wife's brother.
Fourth Player: Mysterious motorbike guy trying to frame up No. 50
Fifth Player: Hae Soo and her version of the truth
Sixth Player: Mr. Coma
Seventh Player: Our dear scientist
(Apologies, too lazy to check the names of the characters.)
There is no point to telling the truth if you already judged the person and assume that your version is the truth.
Not only that, YOU LOVE TO SHOUT OVER HER.
Oh wait. You DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING SHE SAYS!
Hae Soo: Reveal the truth.
Me: You only want to hear YOUR VERSION of the truth. No matter what she will say, if it does not align with your version, you will never believe her!
Hae Soo: You will not? Cruel bitch.
Me: Everyone knows who is the real bitch here.
Hae Soo: I'll kill you with my own hands.
Me: Yeah, right, as if you are a match to No. 50 and her brother.
Me: …
