Do you think Viki will upload the first episodes with Na In Woo?
I wouldn't count on it. Their target market is the International viewers, and their contract no doubt have any clauses about changing the earlier episodes for whatever reason.

Is there a possibility? Sure. But will they take action on it? That's what you shouldn't count on because they'll rely on their licensing deal and sales. Will they earn more if they upload the new episode versions? Will the same amount of people who watched the original versions re-watch the new versions? If that can be guaranteed, then they probably will. Since that can't be guaranteed, then they'll probably just "wait-and-see".

i still don't understand the sudden horrible change in won after becoming king, it bothers me. also moyong was…
In one of the episodes, Won was led to believe a lie about the true heritage of her sister. Because of that he started to have doubts who her real father is.

Those scenes were never addressed in the entire series, when Pyeong Gang saved him from a poison (which turned out to be not a poison), he suddenly became cozy-cozy with his sister again. Yet he was not with On Dal until after he taught him how to shoot an arrow.

Since he never grew up with a mother, and the last time he saw his mother was when he was a kid-kid and was even left alone in the Palace when he wanted to go … and then when Pyeong Gang returned she was suddenly the talk and focus of everyone … there is no doubt resentment grew in him.

When he became king, that resentment finally showed up … especially with an advisor who only thinks about his clan -- the father of the queen.

For Won, the sudden reappearance of his sister is a long-term plan to take the throne for herself.

In addition to those, he loves to listen to secret meetings and he is a very observant person. In his teenage years, he was very good in pretending to be a teenager but in reality he knows a lot about the politics in their empire. He knew there are clans who wish to control the king from behind-the-scenes. He knew that these clans are willing to do the unthinkable, like keep a king hallucinating, just to get what they want.

Personally, I wasn't surprised when Won suddenly became cozy-cozy with his sister because he probably formed a plan to ensure he will take the throne. But the more Pyeong Gang's name grew locally and abroad, the more worried he became that he might lose his throne to her.

Won is not addicted to power. Won was not corrupted by power. The issue with him is he is being controlled by fear. Fear for his throne. Fear that his sister is far wiser and more capable as a warrior. Fear that the people will abandon him just like his mother and sister left him. Fear that he will once again be alone in the world.

If he will only let go of that fear and trust his sister, then he'll be a good king because like his sister, he is not lacking in intelligence and wisdom. He survived his childhood and teenage years, with enemies around him and his father, by learning to observe, listen, and play dumb. But his fear is blinding him.

Title #Alive
Based on the 2019 script by Matt Naylor, this Korean live-action version was a good adaptation. There were some scenes which were far too similar with another Western apocalyptic film released a few years ago (I can not recall the title) in this version that is not in the American version.

If you want to watch the American version based on the same 2019 script by Matt Naylor, look for the movie entitled "Alone" (2020).

what I love the most is that Cha Young didn't stop him she actually encouraged him....oh these two perfect mafia…
Haha… you should watch this. ;)

I guess of the 2020 and 2021 Korean dramas, this is the first one where we have a lot of characters that fits the D&D alignment system. Hehe.

There are a lot of characters who have their own personal agendas and global agendas, I think the antagonist fits Chaotic Evil, the hardest alignment to understand. Hehehe.

Title Taxi Driver
If im not mistaken its actually based on a webtoon
Yeah, I checked just now, the live-action is an adaptation of the webtoon. That means then the webtoon outmatched all other stories which built upon the common idea of a "taxi driver taking revenge for others".

Apologies! I meant "Neutral Good" not "Lawful Neutral".

For Cha Young's case, she can't be Chaotic Good since she also uses the law. In the first episodes, she was more Lawful Neutral since she take cases regardless if they're guilty or not and believes in the power of the law, while her father was Lawful Good.

When she started working with Vincenzo, she shifted to Lawful Good like her father but slowly shifted towards Neutral Good.

While Vincenzo is, it's hard to classify him. There are lines he doesn't cross. He have a set of moral compass too. While he does use the law to his own advantage, he can't' be classified as Lawful since majority of what he does is outside of the law.

I'm thinking he is more of "True Neutral" since it's always about him and his own set of rules. He was even eager to leave after they first did a major blow against Babel, he only wanted the gold. Or he could be Chaotic Good because he have a set of moral compass and lines he wouldn't cross?

What do you think?

LOLs, now that we're discussing it, and Vincenzo's on break … maybe we can classify the characters the D&D way. ^_^

Yep. She started to see the justice in his ways. She's a perfect example of a "Neutral Good" character (using a D&D reference)--if it's for the good of all, it doesn't matter if it was achieved through lawful or chaotic means.

EDIT 2021-04-12 20:21 (UTC+8): I initially typed "Lawful Neutral", what I meant was "Neutral Good". I updated the above comment to reflect the correction.

OMG!!! I ended up shouting aloud at the end of the episode: "KILL HER!!!" and I'm a very pacific person hahahahaha.…
Naah. Don't.

If you want revenge, killing someone is the easiest way out. The best revenge is letting them live … in total fear. ;P

I feel like the crew from Taxi Driver could have dealt with Babel in like 4 episodesAlso the thing about the prosecutor…
Vincenzo could have dealt with them from the episode they crossed paths directly. He was holding back because he wants to turn his back on his past and become a new person. It was explained in this episode when Mr. Scissorman told him to forget his plan to be a new person and to do what he needs to do.

They took the concept from two Western movies and turned it into a brilliant TV series and outmatched the originals. This is how you do it.

Title Sisyphus: The Myth Spoiler
I compiled the explanations I posted in the comments in this discussion thread: https://kisskh.at/discussions/sisyphus-the-myth/61271-explanation-to-what-happened-in-episode-16I…
It depends on how you define "speculation". Is using the clues the writers left in the show to find answers "speculation"? Star Trek do that a lot of times and it is considered canon--let's not forget, the Star Trek fandom is the strictest fandom when it comes to what is canon and non-canon.

Yes, "the next Seo Hae finding the diary and the Uploader developed again and so she appeared next to Tae Sul in the plane", that is speculation.

"Tae Sul actually only saw the events up to the wedding and NOT them killing Sigma or him shooting himself … which Tae Sul claimed he saw (but in reality he lied about)" is not speculation because the show established it as canon that they only see the memories of the bones/ash their previous version experienced. There is no need for the show to literally show us scenes that it is so.

President Park (Asia Mart) not knowing her daughter is with him all that time also fits his character, contrary to what the article from SCMP claimed. Many actually guessed correctly she is his daughter right from the early episodes of the series, and it was made even more obvious as the series went on.

For example, President Park always keeping her out of trouble is a sign that deep inside he knew but he was refusing to believe it because he did not see them "travel" with his own eyes. This would be a "speculation" if it is not supported, but in the last episode, it was clear that it is the case. When he was finally confronted by the fact that she is indeed his daughter he still struggled to accept it. The only time he accepted it was when what she said came true--she witnessed the event and knew her mother won't be killed. That is no longer speculation, it is canon, and it fits perfectly the character of President Park.

If something is supported by other scenes in the entire show, then it is not a speculation but a canon. If there is nothing to support something then it is speculation.

Lastly, and the most important of all, if something was shown in the entire show but the information is simply incomplete, then it is a conjecture. An example of that is when I said that Tae Sul actually left the Uploader code in the laptop but time-locked it. It was not a speculation, it was a conjecture based on a canon scene but the information is incomplete because they did not show if he typed anything. Tet he told Seo Hae to "find him" and he was very confident in what he was about to do. If he did not plan something, then it would contradict the character of Tae Sul--which is he always make sure a new Seo Hae will travel back in time so they can try again or to put it another way, he always choose Seo Hae and not the world. That is his character and that is always what he did every single time according to Seo Hae (and Sigma). So him suddenly saving the world is way out-of-line for him.

I only explained because maybe, just maybe, you and your husband might see things differently. Regardless, I am not saying that my analysis is the only correct one. Again, the series is open-ended, the left the interpretation of the ending up to the audience … so whichever ending one chooses, it is valid.
