Parallel World from the Future
On River Where the Moon Rises Mar 30, 2021
Heck, no doubt majority of the scenes here were part of the re-filmed. This must have hurt the production cost.

There were noticeable changes too compared to the scene they showed in episode 1. But regardless, the episode was great.

Episode 12 (season finale)
Possible plot for Season 2

1. What were those "Documents for Approval"? Those were very ominous.
2. They did not show what Seo Ki Tae announced in the presscon. Again ominous.
3. The show did not give us a clue how much time has passed from the presscon to Jung In leaving Korea (airport scene), all we know a considerable amount of time has passed based on what Jung In said.
4. Then they left us with a new call from the future -- from future Jung In.

Lastly, and the most important of all:
5. Nothing was revealed about the time cellphones. Who made it. Who gave it to them. And why is it whenever there's a fire in a telecommunications company, there's a call from the future?

My theory from last time still stands, Seo Ki Tae definitely knows something about the future and he is following a certain path he probably already knew. He kept on insisting he's doing things for her daughter and for the country, and that presscon appeared to be he's not backing down. A person willing to sacrifice their relationship with their love ones knows something, it is the only reason why their conviction is so strong.

Also remember I mentioned about the possibility that Seo Ki Tae probably got a call from someone from 2021? About how the series avoided showing us anything "future" from 2020? And how the changes only affects the time period from when the call was made to when the call connected to?

Since everything has fallen into place the way it should be, the Jung In from another future was finally able to connect to Jin Woo of 2020.

I hope they will do a Season 2 because they created a very amazing universe.

I love how they finally realized how to end a series, that is by leaving open the possibility of a sequel. For far too long, they've been ending their shows without any room for a new season.

the girl who "teaches" piano annoys me so much idk why
I'm actually curious who she really is. If I understood it correctly, she was a hacker and she knows what's underneath the building.

Yeah, there was something there, those two are no ordinary stylists.

Person Song Yoo Jung Spoiler
Why do they kill themselves??!! Is life that much cheap ? Why would someone kill him/herself because of the pain…
It's hard to understand if you haven't been in a very bad and/or down situation and/or have depression. As someone who have been in such situations, and have depression too, I know the feeling and what goes on in our minds.

> Is life that much cheap?
-- Who said we view life as "cheap"?

> Why would someone kill him/herself because of the pain caused by others.
-- It doesn't always have to be because someone bullied you. There are a hundred reasons.

> Doesn't he/she lose in that way.
-- In your point-of-view, sure.

> No one can rest in peace by killing themselves.
-- How did you know? Religion? What if she doesn't believe in any? There are also faiths where once you die, you die forever, is not that "peace"?

> "nobody was there to help her"
-- Again, how did you know?

> That's the reality.
-- Nope. Unless you've experienced being in our situation, you can not talk about "the reality" for us.

Now, let me before you say something … misinformed …
> Was she weak hence she committed suicide?
-- No. Committing suicide is a very serious decision. It requires tremendous courage. It doesn't happen overnight. One does not decide to commit suicide just because or next week or next month. It is not something you do out-of-the-blue. Majority of the time it was well thought of and planned.

> Was she a coward?
-- NO. No matter what her reasons were, it does not make her a coward. Again, there are hundreds of reasons why one even start to think to commit suicide and eventually do it.

Here's something I'd like to share. Comments like yours, blaming us, is one factor that pushes us to end our life. You judge instead of understanding. You think you are helping but you are making it worse. If you lack understanding on the subject, it is much better to study and learn, than to open your mouth, leave comments, or whisper with friends.

Now that's the reality.

1. Park Jung Je is innocent. He ran down a dead body.
2. Joon Won's father will be found guilty of murder.
3. Park Jung Je's mother's career will be over
4. JL killing the Chief will no doubt come to light, maybe because of Jung Je's mother spilling things … she's too crazy about her son.
5. The psychopath is dead so … that video will probably be discovered and used against JL too.

Title Beyond Evil Spoiler
Episode 12
What a revelation.

I love the interconnection of every case, especially how it all started crumbling down the moment the Lee family got involved … her sister accidentally witnessing a psychopath murder, his father being the one who accidentally killed her, and him being framed for it.

If none of the Lee family members got tangled up, the psychopath wouldn't get caught, Dong Shik wouldn't become a very good, albeit unusual, detective, and Joon Won's father wouldn't go to great lengths to hide the accident, Park Jung Je wouldn't have ran down a dead body, and so on.

Great writing.

The only reason I gave this a 9.5 and not a 10 is bc it's too short and ended too quickly. I feel like there was…
This is only Part 1 of the multi-series "City Couple's Way of Love". The project name of "Lovestruck in the City" was "City Couple's Way of Love: My Lovable Camera Thief". In episode 17, they hinted Part 2.

I don't understand eun oh.....The main thing i hate about her, she came to Seoul and breakup with him by a message,…
If you've finished the series then you should be able to understand why she's staying away from him even though she loves him still.

> "before glorifying her try to look through jae won eyes"

No one is "glorifying her". You see, here's the thing, many of us who understood this series, have experienced one, two, three, maybe even four and five of the different stories and twists the characters portrayed; or we've seen it happen to the people around us.

Being able to understand the characters is not "glorifying whoever". It's called analyzing it objectively.

And we are not assuming the stories, characters, and twists, were true-to-life. The production team officially announced they based on various real love stories.

So, yeah, there are people out there being insulted whenever people say "she's wrong", "she should have done this", "she's unrealistic", and all those negative comments about her. :P

It’s a good drama, why low ratings? It’s modern style drama, I like old time Korean dramas but this one is…
When it comes to dramas based on true-to-life stories, it almost always get bad ratings because majority of people are falsely assuming that the characters and how they handle their life and relationships are "unrealistic".

It's either these group of people are too young or they probably live in love paradise. But for the rest of us human beings, we can relate because we've either experienced it ourselves or have seen our siblings and friends go through it.

Any with news on Part 2 of the "City Couple’s Way of Love" series?

For those not familiar, "Lovestruck in the City" is Part 1 of the "City Couple’s Way of Love" series. The project name was "City Couple’s Way of Love: My Lovable Camera Thief".

All we know so far is it will continue the story from Episode 17. Maybe the project title is something like "City Couple's Way of Love: My Childhood Crush Is Now An Actress"? :P

EDIT: originally mentioned adaptation of a webtoon but I misread the sources, it's a "web series"

I have a doubt... I have watched 3 episodes and can't understand how did Jung In get transported to the future…
Yep. It's a little hard to explain without spoiling things. But if you prefer … you can continue reading. :)

Oh, I'm not sure how far you are in the series so I'll limit to episode 1 and 2 only.

The series is actually set in 2020. In episode 1, the scenes in 2015 was actually the "past" before it was changed. Jung In's father won and became President. Also, Jung In was still a student (about to graduate I think) in 2015.

After that 2015 scene, the episode switched back to Jung In in 2020 (the present) where she's working in DBS network. Then something changed in the past, her father was assassinated. This resulted in Jung In (2020) working for TIMES.

In episode 2, that's when she started investigating. She was sure something changed and things are not as it's supposed to be. Then she received a phone call from Jin Woo from 2015. Eventually she figured out she has a chance to fix the past and restore the 2020 she knew.

Throughout the series, whenever something changes, that's in 2020 (the present), similar to what happened in episode 1 when things changed from DBS to TIMES.

Yeah. Have you seen "Fringe"? Same concept, use someone's brain to help the other patient to survive, later the recipient can access the memories stored in that transplanted part of the brain.
