Ok, fair enough. But most of the active ones here in MDL are younger than you and me, so it's impossible they've watch as many films like the two of us. And besides, it doesn't mean they haven't watched a reasonable amount of movies to not tell what is good and what is bad.
I do find it bad. The story is everywhere. It tried to combine aspects of Wanted, Kingsmen, John Wick, and Kill Bill, or at least was inspired by those. Because of it, there were too many elements that the story went everywhere.
Lol. That reminded me of Everywhere, Everything All At Once or something. Majority praised it but for me it was bad as well. For that one, the execution was the biggest issue not the story. For Mantis, it's the story, the acting were good.
Another example. Squid Game. It lacks depth and story. They just want to kill. But compare that to Alice in Borderland or the film franchise Battle Royale, those have depth and stories.
It's better that people are finding things good or bad for the correct reasons. It is worse if it's rated as good or bad because their fave actors are there or they have an issue with some actor. It is rare nowadays to see feedback because of the story and execution. 🖖🏽

Though at the same time, she enjoys the process. The thrill of knowing that you served justice and let the evil people suffer and seeing their faces filled with the knowledge that there's no escape from it.
She's not an easy one to fit in any category. She probably is a category of her own. Deeply scarred and wanting to vent out her deep anger that she realized, accidentally, the best to do it is by acting as justice herself.

Enough time for him to adjust and learn the future. Enough time for him to track down the book and guarantee it lands on the FL's hands.
So, when their timelines aligned, he showed up with a custom tailor made expensive coat deserving of a wise king, and he already knows his way around.

How dod we know this? Simple. He was already accustomed and acclimated in 2025. It means that he has been living for at least a few months already, perhaps even a year or two.

And when the FL said, "You should change the way you speak". He replied, "How will I do that?" It was obvious he tried, and in the time he spent adjusting and learning about the "future", he failed changing is speech pattern. I suspect that he tracked where the book was and made sure the FL gets it so she can travel back to the past.
