Finished this and am so glad I decided to watch it! I really liked it - the story, acting, pacing - supporting cast too.

Finally watching this and am enjoying it so far after 3 episodes.

It is so worth the watch! It’s a beautiful drama.

Before I finished the drama, I had convinced myself they would have a happy ending where Song Ran and Li Zan found a quiet little village and lived out their lives peacefully. But then when I watched the end of ep38, and they both cried when they wrote “elope” on their hands - and the ending scene was fuzzy and they showed them disappearing, it made me think that it was the sad ending that a lot of watchers talked about.

This drama was amazing and will stay with me for a long time. I’m so glad I read all the spoilers ahead of time so that I was mentally prepared. I loved it from ep1 to 38. I really liked the main leads and their chemistry. Chen Zheyuan’s acting was phenomenal especially in the last episodes. The supporting cast was fantastic too. I will rewatch this again and again - they deserve awards for this drama. Plus the OSTs were heartbreakingly beautiful.

I think it’s her acting or her character - which I know is very young and not very mature - maybe I will continue and see how it goes. :)

I really tried - first time got to ep16 - then months later rewatched from the start and got to ep19 and dropped it. It’s the FL - maybe it’s the actress. I’m glad other people enjoyed it though! :)
