Oh good lord in heaven!!!!! What the hell did I just watch!!!! 😂😂😂 I fell asleep twice because I was so exhausted and this was like a lullaby of nonsense 😂 The plot is ridiculous, well, everything was ridiculous but in a fun way. I snorted and laughed - ugly laughing with tears- most of the first few episodes till it grew on me and I stopped used my mind or try to understand what's going on, if you ask me what the plot was about I'll probably won't be able to answer because I have no idea what I just watched. I probably was too sleepy and too exhausted and that's somehow was what I needed to pass some time since I can't sleep right now.
It's been a while since I've seen a fluffy cute Thai BL that I didn't feel like forcing myself or finish it or strangling myself after finishing it.
I loved Ai so much he was so adorable, I was impressed with his acting the. I found out that he was a child actor which explains why he was so good despite his young age. I admit, I rolled my eyes at his childish 12 YO behaviour in the first couple of episodes and I noticed it's a common idea in some thai BL to mix cute with childish and cringe, but later he got that fixed perfectly, he sometimes act spoiled but didn't seem forced nor terrible to watch IMO.
I also liked the second couple and the overall chemistry between each couple.
That been said, the story and it's development had me raising an eyebrow, I got lost by the random things happening, i sometimes had a good laugh and sometimes wondered if I'm still watching the same drama or got it mixed up with something else!
I generally liked it, the story was all over the place but for the cuteness and Ai, this deserves to give it a go ~
I have a thing for Japanese short web series, they are mostly fun and have a cheerful slice of life stories. This is one of those that makes you feel calm and relaxed without using much brain cells 😂 I liked the cast and the story, it's probably not for everyone but it's definitely hit the spot for me ~
I don't understand. I mean what's the point of the story? First, the whole thing was written in the synopsis above, and the movie adds nothing, so you can just read it and voilà, you saw the whole thing. I know its a "short movie", but I still don't understand what am I suppose to feel or get after the 25mins watch ~ It's generally not bad, actually on the verge of being very good, it's just pointless ~
It's been a while since I've seen something for Woobin and I'm glad I picked it up, I liked the light beginning as a base for the violence from the middle till the end. Of course there are some moments where you'd roll your eyes while watching like how incompetent and slow the police is represented and the light punishment for severe crimes. still, it was very enjoyable if we ignore those moments and the action sequences were top notch. I'd recommend it for the action part and Woobin existence for sure, but generally speaking it's like any action movie you would find.
This hit me right in the kokoro 💔 It's a beautiful story of two girls who spend an after school time together, one of the girls is going to move and be transferred to another school.
While it's only 17 mins long it showed many emotions from the two beautiful actresses. It immediately transferred me back to my school days, to my old friends, and to the time we used to hangout and say whatever we want and do whatever we want, that could be considered just stupid stuff or very deep and meaningful things, till we reach the time when we have to go our separate ways and life tears us apart.
It hit a nerve somewhere, being a nostalgic person, it was an amazing 17mins well enjoyed~
That was ... Something... First I won't dwell on the lack of humanity and ethical principles in this and how it is so wrong for such story to be done, been there done that, with no intention to discuss that again.
Now judging the movie compared to the series, it's an upgrade, just keep the expectations low and you would accept it enough to finish it. Still, I don't know how this would be done better, not because this is good enough, but because the source material is just too bad if not the worst 😂
Of course, I would never recommend watching it, but if you want to, watch the movie it's much more watchable than the series.
Just like every other special, it's an extra episode full of fluff and cuteness and nothing more, happy to see the most adorable JiangChi and BuXia here too ❣️
It was okay-ish. The unrealistic end is what I didn't like, I mean I know they went for the satisfying end but there are many other more sensible ways to end it. Still, quite enjoyable and BuXia and JiangChi cameo was super adorable too ❣️
When I see the words "China" and "BL" in one place, I know for sure... 100% no doubt, it's gonna be one of two things. Another incomplete BL cancelled midway like "Addicted" or it's gonna be a bromance in disguise. This was neither, it didn't even continue to be one of the two options 😂
The story is okay-ish, I loved the second couple, and I'm glad they had much screen time, probably appeared as much as the main couple, I even skipped the MC part for the last 2 episodes lol I completely lost interest. It's very good, didn't get a chance to be better, nothing really happened in those 4eps, still, it's good enough to be watched.
I try to avoid long dramas -more than 16ep- but I really like stories that have a hopeful character with any type of disability, and the cast, I mean "the cast!!" ... I may keep an eye of this, I just hope it will be good and not stretchy and boring ~
For me it was very undersatisfying. I don't remember their story in ULS tbh so I don't know how they were in it and that's why, judging the movie alone, it felt slightly underwhelming.
The whole thing is a Donghee avoiding Hotae who is having a sexuality crisis of some sort, I mean I watched the whole thing without seeing one confession, just two kisses one of them was very forced.
I can't really see those raw strong emotions they had, all I saw was confusion and running away.
I'm not saying it was bad, but I don't see the appeal of it, there is nothing spectacular about it, but on the positive side, the way it was filmed and their interactions were great, I liked their friendship if we somehow cancelled the two kisses, we have a good bromance. Also I can't see Donghee as the hyung lol every time he asks hotae to say hyung to him I literally cringe xD but this is just me so I can't really take thing against them 😂
It's generally good, but not perfect and just lower your expectations and you'll enjoy it.
I like it. It's a simple Japanese romance drama that checks all the boxes. It's far from perfect but still enjoyable, I like how they showed dating in 30s Vs in 20s, and how they grew through the relationship, also how hard is it to date a younger guy, specially for someone who is comfortable being alone but still feel lonely sometimes, the duality of this was the main reason for the FL indecisiveness and low self-esteem. I rated this higher because of Shota's beautiful smile and my love for Anne, but it's still an entertaining watch~
I got bored by ep6 or so, that is when they shifted the FL character from Mad scientist to a hopeless romantic, not that she wasn't from beginning, but the whole DNA lover part lost it's sharm. I believe they wanted the SML to be her perfect partner and make her end up with the ML just to break the whole DNA obsession the FL had, and to prove that her ideas are irrational and insensible.
Aside from that I hate the confusion of feelings for each character, the SML was never in love with the FL, and treated her like everyone else yet suddenly he is in love with her, he knew about all her relationships and knew that she will eventually break up and get sad yet he only opposite the ML and suddenly had his wake up call. The ML also didn't give a reason on why he is so attracted to the FL, and vise versa. I know the ML is handsome, rich and whatever, but for someone who is extremely obsessed with genes and DNA -even dated a plain, half bald cheater - that's just not enough to fall in love, moreover to adjust facts to fit the FL idea of him being the perfect DNA lover.
I really don't know what went down or why I lost interest but it was generally disappointing.

I liked the poster so I gave it a go and it was lovely ~
It ended and I was like, now what? But it was something ~
