I watched the movie long time ago, and as far as I remember - or don't remember - the story was lovely and the movie was ok or good, at least good enough to encourage me to watch the series.

That been said, it wasn't what I expected.
The story somehow had 3 sections that was covered over the episodes and shifts from one to another in a very sharp way, it wasn't even a smooth shift, you can literally cut the series into parts.

The first 4-5 episodes focused on the relationship between the two leads and this was by far the best part, the interaction was super cute, they were so lovely and I could see a hint of BL in there, including that miserable excuse of a kiss, but I've seen some "clean" BL and loved like Cherry Magic for example, the difference is that the latter had a good build up for the love/relationship of the leads while here it only lasted for like 5 episodes then we shifted to the second section, in which they experienced a lack of communication. Mind you they weren't together or anything 😂 they were just friends.

I understand why Kohei was hesitant and didn't share much because Taichi never show what's on his mind, I know he was supposed to be a confused character who doesn't know what he wants, but I didn't like how they made Taichi behave toward Kohei, first he didn't reply to the confession, he didn't push him away nor did he reciprocate his feelings, he just acted like nothing, and that made Kohei keep apologising and feeling like a burden. And while he keeps being a very good friend and was mad every time Maya pulled Kohei away, he wasn't clear at all about his feelings, making us as a viewer get confused, like did he like him or did he not??

Then during this confusion and mess, they again shift to another section that discussed the whole hearing disability and the struggles the hearing impaired people faces, and while the matter was discussed the whole time in the background of their story, it suddenly became the sole focus in the last few episodes that we totally forget about the leads and their relationship.

I generally didn't hate the drama but it simply didn't deliver what it promised, the BL part is very lacking, the only good thing is the friendship, I'd prefer if this was made as a bromance to a BL, I wasn't looking for sex or anything like that so don't get me wrong, but at least if it's going to be advertised as a BL I'd like both of the leads to have feelings for/confess to eachother and have a proper romance part in the story even without touching at all.
the disability part was covered well, and I really liked the company boss and his employee.

Funny that he got 1 year cause of drugs that basically ruined himself while Seungri did a whole hell of a fuck-up show and only got 3 years reduced to 18 months 😂

Ok I know I'm too late for this, but is it like the Taiwanese version of Addicted Heroin?? I knew there is a Thai version but I had no idea there is a Taiwanese version going on.
Story sounds incredibly familiar but some comments confused me ~

This was a fun ride, I didn't find it as hilarious as the comments shows but still, it was funny in some parts. And - surprisingly - took an emotional turn by the end.
It's a good movie, highly recommended

How adorable ❣️ both characters are so lovely, and the movie is so light and sweet ~

It was cute, and despite generally liking it, I hated how incredibly and utterly innocent and childish Taishin was, I mean I can accept some stupidity and innocence but He was a bit too much.
I still liked the drama though, he wasn't a huge put off or anything, the length of 10 episodes was good too, but i think they needed to slightly focus more on Takara.
I would generally recommend it, it's light and lovely.

I'm a sucker for gore stuff, Blood? Great, the more the merrier, but I have to say this was a very serious traumatizing shit!!!

I personally did not mind it, my problem was that I thought it's like high school drama stuff with horny teens or something, and when I found out about the BL tag -which I checked after I started the movie- I thought cool, BL with 8 boys in high school and kidnapping a girl, pretty much fucked up but my type of fucked up!

I was surprised a little but once you get past the "first" shock ... You kinda start to enjoy it for the real reason now 😂

I loved "lesson of the evil" it's one of my favourites so there is no way I wouldn't like this, but I still can't believe I thought it was a high school romance at first lol 😂😂

Oh how I loved it!!! It was amazing!!
Aside from the story itself, the way they represented the idea of loneliness and fearing to be forgotten is just brilliant!!
It's so deep and emotional.
At first I was going to complain about how they always represent shy introverted people as obsessive and stalker-ish and once you give them attention they become psychopaths, but the second part made me realise it wasn't about that, it's not about him being shy or socially awkward, it's much more.
I love how it ended, and how he snapped himself back to reality at the last quarter of the movie, it shows that he wasn't just a weirdo stalker, he just wanted to feel loved, his behaviour was completely wrong but not for the obvious reasons ~

I would highly recommend this movie if you are feeling lonely, this would probably make you feel much much worse 😂

I loved it, it's a simple movie with deep messages, it shows that each one of us has his own story but with some bad points.
It follows an ex prostitute and the people she meets on daily basis and each has his own struggles that he faces, from a little kid missing his mothers love and attention, to a teenager lost between family and desires, to her daily customers and her co-workers.
What I did not like much was the shallow representation for some characters like Shinatsu, and the homeless guy. even Okaji didn't have enough time to tell all her family problems so it came slightly superficial, but again it's more about Chihiro and I believe we had enough of her backstory to understand her character.

Overall a good movie.

That wasn't bad but, I think it could be much much better ~

This movie has everything, every destructive habit you'll find it here, any problem or mental disorder would be present, from eating disorder, bulling, sex addiction, bdsm, obsession all sexualities gays, lesbians, straight.
You name it! Even side characters that had a scene or two would have some kind of mental issue.
The big problem here is that they just throw everything in the blender, and do nothing about it. I don't understand the artistic POV here tbh, the only thing I concluded is that everyone in this society is sick!! 😂 That's it ~

It's one of those movies that you need to get deep with the characters to form a realistic opinion about it, you can't just look at it from the outside, because of you did, you'll probably solve the whole attachment the two leads had if they were admitted to a hospital and took some depression pills, alas this was set in the 60s, and it's Haruki Murakami's work so, we have to take the long rough road here 😂

It's not a shallow cheating story, it's a story of loss and how some deal with it, how different everyone translate his feelings of loss, and what we do with all the love we had for someone when he or she is gone.
The ML shifted all his whole love for Kizuki to Naoko, and later became it's captive that can't and don't want to free himself from, Midori gave him a reason to be set free, with her, he may forget his loss with time, but his heart was tied with a string, he couldn't let go and that's why he broke down when he lost Naoko, both of them wanted to fill the emptiness Kizuki left in eachother in a very unhealthy way, while completely wrong, but understandable.

I have to admit that the movie didn't do the novel justice, but I bet no adaptation of Murakami's works can do that anyway.

I kinda like it but not enough to go on and watch the sequel or rewatch this one.
Like I see the appeal but maybe this movie isn't for me.
The Yakuza leaders were too weak, I felt they needed a serious antagonist to give the impression that they are ridiculously too strong to be true.
Maybe I like the darker type of assassins more😂

I don't know if I agree or disagree really 😂 you have a solid point that I can't deny, the "awkwardness" was pretty much present and my admiration for their chemistry could be influenced by them in LITA, they were good there.
Nevertheless, if we think about it, it could be because of the weird script, if an actor is supposed to do a scene in a certain way or behave in a specific manner, the whole scene could look messy, even if he get along pretty well with his partner.
Or at least that's how I see it🤷🤷

I still don't understand why he came back to life lol the man never dies!! JunO is supposed to be dead and gone and that's why he was possessed in the first place, now after DoHa is gone, why is he back?? And if we say to have a happy end, he actually did not end up with YoungHwa which made everything more ridiculous.
I would understand if he just died and they meet again in the next life but to be resurrected twice is just too much even for a fantasy drama 😂
