The fact that they will never even get any closer to the original one! 🥲
Well, I totally agree with you lol My original comment was about the confusion because the drama name, and come what may the probably bad Thai adaptation of sannen a-gumi would be much much better than Homeroom, the Japanese Homeroom is a story that should be buried and forgotten 😂😅 But same as you, I'm not that excited about this either ~~
Whatever. More importantly, put your review as spoiler. Be respectful to the people who are currently watching…
Uh ... Nope ... Cause I've seen a lot of comments with more details than what I said ... So nope I'll not add it as a spoiler, and if you don't like my comment, simply ignore it ~~
The first 7eps or so we're quite entertaining, so enjoyable that I actually didn't care if it was platonic bromance or direct BL, I enjoyed watching Day's character development Alas that didn't last that much and on the 11th ep he acted very childishly, same way he was in the beginning of the series ~~
It's actually stupid and sort of unnecessary to add the argument and the whole time skip part, I mean Mhok literally did everything a human being can do for Day , even better than his mum, and to just ignore everything he did because you have this silly rule of "No pity" is really dumb ~~
The fact that you made this rough bad boy treat a blind man with extreme delicacy and tenderness, and end up with a broken heart and abrupt happy end is just lame ~
The fact that they will never even get any closer to the original one! 🥲
That's for sure! But at least it's "sannen a-gumi" adaptation, not "homeroom" 😂🤷 If you watched both Japanese dramas you'll understand why this is waa~~ay better
I love jdramas, and I dare say they are the only dramas that I'd completely finish even if I find them boring -mainly because they are relatively short but anyhow - and this one was a copy of another 100 jdramas I've seen before ~
Started off super cringe, not to mention slightly creepy, the guy was literally in love with a child/teenager, and despite the idea of "fake marriage" everything intimate was according to the FL pace and she is an adult so yeah, I don't have a problem with that, people do a lot of shit at even younger ages, and this is fiction so nothing more to say ~~
The story however is very inconsistent, screams Manga and slightly have a lot of unnecessary dead fish kisses, but as I said, that was the needed amount of cringe I watch every now and then ~~
1.25x is the furthest I allow myself to go otherwise any other speed I can't seriously focus on it anymore...…
I salute your strong willpower, because I definitely couldn't finish it. In case I ever got interested in knowing how it ends, although it is very unlikely, I'll probably watch or read a recap.
If I to make a list of the slowest and most boring kdrama I've ever watched this would easily top the list. Don't get me wrong, the whole cast are amazing, the story is intriguing, but the execution and the pace.... My goodness!! It was terrible ~~ I've been trying to finish this drama for 3 years now .... 3 freaking years!!!! I just couldn't!! And I don't know why I can't even fast forward or skip because I feel like I'll miss something important in the story and then I'll have to rewind it.... I have nothing but love for the cast but I hate this drama ~~
The story is a mess, the intimate scenes are nice but unfortunately that's the only "nice" thing about it. Everything is mediocre except the story was terrible with many holes, and that isn't helping the relatively new actors to do anything or show any talent ~ I would not necessarily recommend it but it's not unwatchable.
Found an edit for this drama and I randomly picked it, not bad not good just average short cdrama. Entertaining for the most part and boring in some but still watchable ~~
Also I don't know why kdrama always insert the idea of Exs magically getting back together once they met again, every relationship is different so I can't say this is completely unrealistic, but it just makes a idiot out of the two. what about the time they lost breaking up, and the reasons for the breakup? What about the heartbreak they suffered from, and the time they took to heal from it?? Years wasted just to get back together again and in most cases they'll probably break up again.
Why does it seems like thew forced his love on Guy. I mean Guy was thinking about Whal who he had a "moment" with and ran away from, then Thew said the magical words and Poof!! Guy is in a relationship with him lol From this point I can't go on, everything doesn't make sense at all, who is capable of switching his love like that, a love that lasted since school years, mind you ~~ Naah!! Not buying it, not liking it, it was a let down series, and it's a pity because Meen and Ping have improved a little from their last drama ~~
First I have to say if you plan to watch this, it's one of those slow, calm dramas so if you're not in the mood for such thing or if it's not your cup of tea just skip it ~~
I think the FL doubts were completely reasonable, we all get those ideas in every normal relationship let alone one you have to adapt to, still, she tried her best to stay with him when he wasn't really an open book ~~~
What bothered me was how they dealt with those doubts ....
I don't understand the love kdrama makers have for the breakup phase in every rom-drama rom-com they create. Like .. why? Everything is good, it's fine to have doubts and questions when you are a relationship both have to talk and try to understand eachother together either stay in the relationship or break up for good I don't care but they have to discuss it .. the break up~ time slip~ sudden meeting ~ act like nothing happened and get back together is just lame writing, specially when it's a mature relationship between two adults (30- something and 40- something) not college students or high schoolers ~~
It was bad, made worse by the messy airing schedule.
I love PGY, more than I can explain in words, but I didn't like this drama even for her alone, the cast is good but the whole story is based on a very lame reason for a curse that lasts for generations.
I can't say anything good about it, it's not unwatchable bad, but it's very boring even with binge-watching, I can't even imagine how other were watching this every two weeks or so while it was still airing.
The MC story - or lack thereof - is probably the worst thing besides Jade character in this. I don't remember the book but I know that it wasn't written like that, Jade was too clueless but he was innocent clueless not a stupid over-the-top idiot clueless. The character got a bit calmer as the show goes on but still insufferable. And Mai character isn't any better, I didn't understand why he liked jade and answering with "I want to take care of him, I want to protect him" is a lazy answer, you love someone because of some thing in that person, or how you feel with them caring and protecting is the result of this love not the Reason, you are not adopted a German shepherd, my dear!!! You can name anything ~~
I loved Uea here and King too tbh but Uea was the most and only sensible character in the whole thing and he balanced the show well, I also feel Net and James are now too comfortable playing their black cat/golden retriever couple and I like that.
Other side-couple were cute, but they didn't have much of a story or anything so as much as they've shown, they were good.
Good morning call is one of the most popular jdramas here on mdl coffee and vanilla is popular too. There's also…
I wasn't talking about talent either, that's why I mentioned Haruka and not Komatsu Nana. Personally I found Nana less talented than almost all of the list but I know she is too popular here, but the two I specifically mentioned I see no popular work for them so I wondered how exactly did they climb their way here on MDL, also being popular in Japan doesn't really cut it though I know it plays a role ~
The list has some great actresses I can't even say anything lol I may change the arrangement a bit but all of them are very talented, Satomi being on the top I believe is the only thing that definitely no one disagree with ~~
I'm only surprised to see two on this list, Fukuhara Haruka and Honda Tsubasa... Haruka basically doesn't even have any popular work aside from GMC, let's be honest Coffee Vanilla is terrible I don't even know how is it popular but my opinion about the drama aside I don't think she shined or did any spectacular work to be on the list, also Honda while being a "not bad" actress, I'm surprised she is listed before someone like Mone and Ueno Juri?? Even Yuriko Yoshitaka and the magnificent Kyoko Fukada .. I mean I may accept her being on the list but more popular than those ?? Nah!!! 😂😂 ~~
This is just my opinion and I know you only listed according to popularity here so I'm not judging your taste or anything, I'm just stating my opinion ~~

I usually like these type of dramas but I don't know why I found it boring, even while loving the lead so much ~
The story is a mess, the intimate scenes are nice but unfortunately that's the only "nice" thing about it.

Oh well, you become immune after the first shock!
Same, I love peculiar characters, they are more interesting, I'm glad jdramas are not shy of them ~
It's more of a healing drama to a BL but it wasn't bad after all, it just wasn't as good as I expected.
Good for wasting time ~~
Loved the first part so I thought of watching the second one, I shouldn't have done that ~~
Story is cliché, and I hated the FL, she was unnecessarily annoying, she refuses the ML when he was poor and once again when he was rich and STILL this managed to have a happy end lol
That gotta be a joke ... A bad one ~~
