I know I'm probably the only one who think the story is bad despite liking the series. I loved FortPeat in LΔ°TA and I think their chemistry is perfect, and they fit eachother like lock and key, unfortunately that's the only good thing in this series, basically there is nothing going on, it's slightly a healing drama, but it's somehow it's "love sky" in a nutshell... Δ°f we slightly change the settings and the character background it's basically the same, even with the trauma and PTSD ... What made everything worse is the lack of excitement, I mean yeah the two leads are amazing and easy on the eye but with nothing going on you lose interest easily specially when the side characters are so shallow and their story lacks consistency too so there is nothing except for the two leads that is worth watching for ...
One last thing i also liked was Meena, the girl is spectacular, and she is only 10YO, she appeared in like 3-4 scenes and totally stole the show, she is going to be a star π
No matter what everyone say, I loved it. I have to admit that I'm completely and utterly prejudiced π because takumi kun is literally my first BL ever, it marks my falling into the rabbit hole of the magical BL wonderland, so can't give it less than a 6 ( I actually rated it higher mainly because of the epic slap lol) but my point is, this movie is special.
Now if I have to say how good or bad it is ... It's bad ... Like really bad... Which is why it's actually perfect. lol ... Nope I didn't go crazy just hear me out!... The first takumi kun was out in 2007, and to give the same vibes of the original it has to mimic the old BL style, the slow scenes, the long pauses, the odd story like a puzzle that doesn't fit, the long stares, and of course the kabedon moment... this movie checks all these boxes, making it the perfect nostalgic shitty BL we used to watch and enjoy.
Be that as it may, the movie has a freshness in it, it doesn't look old despite all the similarities I mentioned, I can't put my finger on what exactly gives it this modern feeling but it was good enough to make me enjoy it more.
I know many would disagree, but if you are like me, started BL too early and have good old memories with takumi kun series, you are going to love it.
Well .. Everything about it is beautiful, even the silence... But I still didn't get the rush at the end, and the whole Kitamura character tbh... I mean what was the point of the last 30 ~ 40 mins or so ... I can't say it was bad because I genuinely enjoyed it, but I was also scratching my head when it ended.

Ok so I totally forgot about this ... Then I found it'll be out soon but when I saw Jes with Bible I was like .... Ummmm ...... Then I saw the trailer π₯π₯ I admit it blew me away, we are sooooo in for a treat β£οΈ can't wait ππ
Uhhh .... WTF? Wait what was that ππππππ I have no idea how I came here and how I've watched this but I actually had a good laugh because of how bizarre and silly it was ...
I understand that this is just a regular marketing gimmick. But, it made me wonder that Rain might have done the…
Rain is known for liking a challenge, and despite having no martial arts experience he trained hard for about 6 months for his role in Ninja assassin, and he probably did all his Stunt "nothing was mentioned otherwise" Also put in mind that Ninja assassin was filmed 16 years ago ... He was younger and single focusing on work only, now he is older and a father of two probably would think about his safety more now so even if he didn't do the "dangerous parts" I think he's heavily involved ~
I love how silly and cute the 1st episode was, and I was prepared to love it BUT why can't they be funny without…
I don't know why some got butthurt because you were simply saying your opinion lol... Agree or disagree with what you said, you have every right to say what you want... Just ignore those weird comments...
