I'm surprised this doesn't have a melodrama tag, cause this was sad to a degree.
It's a family drama about loss, struggles and love, I don't know if I can call it slice of life but it's about life in general.
I loved all characters, I don't understand the severe animosity between the daughter and the mother in the beginning but I believe it's how they wrote the daughter's character, hence the rudeness.
I like how it ended with everyone overcoming their problems and moving on from their trauma, that been said it's slightly sugar coated, which is great but unrealistic a little xD but I'm glad they ended it this way, they all deserve to live happily.
I loved the Aunt "seon young" and Tae Oh and I felt really sorry for him in the beginning being the completely unwanted person everywhere, trying to fit in but struggling to, I wish they had explored their relationship earlier so that we can see some of their happiness. I believe the actors can't shoot intimate scenes like kissing, so they played it safe but I wish they casted a bit younger actors so that they'd be more comfortable showing some romance on screen. However, I believe they did an amazing job so I'm not really complaining I'm just sharing some thoughts.
Aside from that there is nothing much to write home about, if you life family dramas about overcoming struggles and being optimistic go for it, it's well done, and don't forget the tissue box if you are sensitive ~
