We finally get the romantic moments between our leads and I am loving it. The way Chunsheng and Xiaomei look at each other ( I am melting into a puddle). Also the acting when Chunsheg stood up to defend her was amazing. I literally saw hope bloom in Li Qin's eyes. That is some quality acting there.

Perhaps it was not terrible luck after all. I really hope that WDB can continue to break higher ratings in the upcoming episodes. The entire cast and crew deserve. It is sad that director Fu Ning couldn't get to see the drma air but the drama deserves every bit of praise and love that it gets.

I saw the kuyun ratings climbinng up from 0.4 to 2 is no easy feat.😎

I thibk it might even better when it airs on btv since the show is set in beijing.

It doesn't have a mediccal and military theme completely. The fl is a doctor and the male lead was a soldier but later becomes a business man. It mainly slice of lufe but also focuses on their professions.

I like it when actors understand the effect that their characters have on the audience.

The drmaa might not directly show XiaoMei's struggles directly compared to the other characters. But she has her own struggles. She has to struggle to get her parents approval to accept her decison. In fact I think one reason why txm likes xcs is because he was the first one who said she would be the best dr tong. She has to struggle to get people around her to accept her decisions. Jusr becuase a person is quiet kind and helpful doesn't mean they are not struggling.

Also while the drama shows txm happy for xcs and hongling she must be also be sad because she does like xcs a lot. But because it is her nature to accept whatever that comes, she instead decides to be a good friend to both of them.

Her struggles might seem small compared to those faced by Chunsheng and hongling but the writer shows that everyone has their own struggles whether small or big. Ìn the end it the way each person deals with the situation that matters. I also believe that in the upcoming episodes Tong XiaoMei's quiet resolute character will bloom further.

Sadly this sort of thing can happen even now in some places😥
