It was partially based on the manga (Alice in Borderland: Retry), f.e the whole Arisu and Usagi plot after the games, first game, etc. But many new things were introduced, like the Joker card, new characters and stuff.

I loved it!! OST is fire and Im in love with ML, actor played two roles so well 🥹Plus the chemistry between the couple! Can someone please recommend me more dramas with couples like this one? I mean he is pretty and mean at first but sensitive in reality and she is not fo good looking for drama standards and it just clicks ❤️I loved it in Ready Set Love too!

Author is involved, it is made with his suggestions, so it is something. I also hope they will take some inspiration from the manga and won't ruin this masterpiece.

Not really, there is Alice in Borderland: Retry, which is like second part of manga and takes place like 8 years after the events in original AiB. It has only 2 volumes though and author made it mainly to promote live action so...There is also another spin off by the same author where Alice is a girl. But well, I heard they will make new story so you are right

Wow, really good! It was way more realistic than Squid Game and each of the characters had their backstory, so just like in Alice in Borderland, I think you could relate to the characters more. Will gladly watch another season of this if they make it.

Horrible characters, especially professor. I hated how they focused on the case of acusing one of boy's dad while everyone knew it's pointless. I wish the movie showed military involvement case, which is the most probable scenario. Generally kinda meh...But very sad.

But for example my bf said that he didn't want to live, he only wanted to stop the games, which he partly suceed, because at least they stopped it in Korea...And him winning for the second time would be weird. But yup, he sacrificed his life to look for and destroy the games but they just transfered them to USA >.<

It wasn't that bad but the amount of random and stupid actions in this season...And congratulations to character who achieved literally NOTHING (other characters at least tried) aka Hwang Jun Ho XD Imagine you look for 2 years for your brother to end his deadly games but in the end you just do nothing, spare his life and at the end, get a random baby and the money haha

Maybe I'm too stupid to understand it lol, but I didn't understand first half of first episode and had to read synopsis after. It was so confusing, 2 identical kidnaps and I thought it's the same girl as the whole episode was showing those two girls at the same time...Sorry it just got me confused, I hope it's better later.
EDIT: I'm finished...Well, this drama has some serious problems. All 3 main characters are red flags (one is a kidnapper and has potential violence problems + forcing women to do the things she doesn't want to, the other is molly coddle and the girl is a lier, screaming bitch (ear plugs recommmended) and a traitor). How can I cheer for a couple which is based on kidnap, cheating and mercy?
Also, people who complain on the ending...Did you even read the synopsis? Did you expect it to end happily? I'm sorry, but it'd not Disney.
The best part is OST. I must admit I cried too and it was a rollercoester of emotions (laughing and then crying in the next minute).

You know, The Last Samurai and Memoir of Geisha also take place in Japan and have a lot of Japanese actors, but they are produced in Hollywood and weren't made in association with Japan. The reason why One Piece is here is probably partly because Oda himself was taking care of the scenario and worked on this series.

He did say he did wrong, apologized. I think it's he does understand it's not something to make fun of...And I am not judging you, beacuse you can have your point, but thinking someone is a rapist/pedophile etc for a photo they posted is too much. People are judging him because he's an actor, I understand, but everyone can make a mistake. I genuinely think it was sent by a stupid reason.
He plays a trans girl, learned feminine manners for that and spent some time with women to understand their personality.

Not everything needs to be meaningful. You can tell to people who watch true crime, why they watch it if it just shows graphic images of people who suffer? True crime actually does have a meaning but for example gore? It doesn't, but there is a bunch of people who likes this stuff, you can think it's weird but they just enjoy if for shocking factors, it doesn't have any depht. I genuinely think actor did nothing wrong, also apologized for that. I know rape jokes are not funny and I think he does perfectly understand that.

I often sent racist stuff, black humor related etc and I am not a racist and murder lol, people do not use internet or what? He just posted a poster, it doesn't mean he likes it. And we will never know but of course judging others is so fun to do.

It's not a laugh matter and nor is suicide but still black humor and comedy like these exist ;) I send racist memes to my boyfriend and we are laughing bacuase of them and guess what, I am not racist xD Most people can tell it's fiction. Plus you never know, maybe that was just for a shocking factor.

It wasn't as good as the first season, you can see it was kinda forced, but I liked that they decided to go deeper with the structure and character's mind. Also, acting is brilliant. Park Sung Hoon top of the top, don't care about the haters!

It was very mindless and fun to watch between intense series, but I just couldn't stand FL and ML. As you all say, FL is childlish and naive, but ML is even worse, such a toxic guy! Doesn't have brain and is selfish af. I feel sorry for Dae Sung who was so sweet, he deserved better. But I saw too many type of this cliche stories to know where this is going. 5,5/10

Omg I honestly loved it! I had a dream about this drama, that's my level of love. Waiting for more, there is so much to say, like the whole world building and breaking the system! And Blue is <3
