I think you're right! He was good looking in FIYS yes, but the beautiful brown eyes and legs for days situation really pops out because of his dangerous/sexy aura in the show.

I could swear Xu Kai was not this good looking before watching As Beautiful As You! Granted, I haven't seen too many of his dramas but like lord, were his eyes always so pretty?

About the drama, its definitely a must watch for those who like slow burn/non-flashy romance.

Oh my god, thank you for replying! The one you're referring to is a new, currently airing show that I haven't watched yet so it can't be this one. Lord I've looked through his entire MDL profile but still can't find what I've seen him in before. Ps. It has to be an older show than Miss Mystery!

Yes exactly! She was so pretty/sexy with her hair down in that black dress and they stuck her in such hopeless clothes the rest of the time - it's truly tragic! I mean, look at the fancy wedding dress she was wearing at the end but her hair was in the SAME DAMN BUN!

Her bun gets progressively irritating - to the point where even the ML couldn't distract me from it and that's saying something!

Def one of the better ones out there.

First half was weird-ish, second half is fluffy. Not a bad watch if you're in between dramas or can't decide what to watch.

My advice? Watch for the eye candy only and you won't be disappointed too much.

This particular plot hole just irked me from the get go!
