This seems to be the most recommended in the genre after Khemjira, which I'm having massive trouble moving on from. I mean, theres definitely better qcting and overall cinema out there but its just something about Khemjira thats staying with me.
Hence question 1: will this actually be as good as Khemjira?
Q2: how is the romance here? The once and forever type?
Q3: does the horror outweigh the relationships?
Q4: does it really go so off track in the latter half that the entire point is lost?
Tor was actually really awful to FL. I mean, the multiple abuses of forced kisses and he even slept with her sister…
Truly. I rememered the sister bit since it was truly unforgivable. The worst betrayal I've seen in asian drama land. Hence, i like to pretend it didn't really happen.
I was so excited to start this especially since I liked the original - and this has DHZ - but was Tor so mean to the FL? Like mean enough to be spiteful at someone's funeral, someone *she* cared about, to her face? Its been a while since i watched the OG so I'm a bit fuzzy on the details.
Plus going by the first ep, they've really changed the storyline. They were supposed to be neighbours or some such, no?
Unhinged you say? Sign me up! God knows, I haven't had my fix of unhinged since LLTG, SoKP and The Double.
Yep, its so sad that unhinged doesn't get the exposure/HE it deserves (the trope). But yes, short dramas and vertical dramas have really caught on this trend and some really SERVE!
I don't know why but I've never been able to get into TTEOTM.
The other two I'll definitely check out - thanks!
Have you watched Love Better Than Immortality? Its an older one but also fits the parameters.
Like the guy had to get AMNESIA to like her? I get it - the way his character is (read: asshat-ish) they needed…
Aren't the aloof ones always the ones who fall the hardest? Whichever direction they took, the comments are right here - this couple had the most chemistry, after the first story (the third sister).

I get where you're coming from but think of it this way - without the amnesia, he would have, eventually, realized that he likes her. It would have been a lovely story of her chasing him, and breaking through his walls. Just saying.
However, the amnesia trope does explain why his personality changes for the better even after he remembers everything. I like to think that he retains his 'less burdened by guilt' self and finally learns to let go of past traumas.
Does anyone not think the 4th sister's story is kind of disrespectful to her character?
Like the guy had to get AMNESIA to like her? I get it - the way his character is (read: asshat-ish) they needed *something* to help cut through the stone walls he'd built, but come on. Amnesia? I was so excited for the 4th couples story, especially since all the comments said it was their favorite! Ugh!
I do enjoy a crazy in love ML. He took everything that the FL dished out for episodes on end and never gave up.Amazing…
The best vertical version of this storyline is with the girl in a red dress - saw it in the playlist you shared. Had some of the best chemistry in vertical cdrama land.

Literally just watched it and came running to MDL to rant on this dialogue.
Like? Self awareness? No? What about the sheer *timing" of this dialogue?! No irony felt?
The screenwriter was def smoking something.

Do you have any other shows to recommend like so?
