I thought so too. I thought if this novel is ever picked to make a drama adaptation, it would be from Tencent. Who would have known that they wouldn’t even bat an eye at this. I wonder if TGCF is not up to their standards or something bcs they are literally picking up everything other novel but this.

Yes. I absolutely think that CG and GY took care of the crown prince until he inherits the throne. i remember the crown prince also liked GY and CG a lot. For CG’s siblings, i thought he only has two older brothers. One died because of treason and the other died after giving CG the throne. I think it’s the crown prince that has younger siblings (one around 7 years old). But it’s totally possible that CG had more siblings (from emperor’s other concubines) who were just not mentioned in the novel.

Yeah that may be true, this novel is a lot more heavier and has less romance than 2HA and so 2HA seems to be more popular. And yeah tbh, Leo Yunxi is like so handsome, he is so perfect for the role of Shizun. But looking at the photos for this drama, especially Gu Yun’s photos with him wearing the monocle, I have high hopes. I’m so excited for both dramas honestly.

It was cute to see their interactions but i felt very sad during the scene Xia Sini was waiting so long to eat together but Mo Ran never came.

She was definitely sold. She was offered as tribute to the emperor by their own clan members because she was the goddess and the most beautiful woman in the entire wolf tribe. I also faintly remember she was trying to run away from the palace with her sister (because she didn’t like living in the palace. Not gonna blame her that emperor was so old who would like him) then she died on the way or something.
