ZXW’s acting is really good. He can play an abused introverted teen in Dear parents and bubbly bright guy in Sweet teeth. Now I have hope that he’ll do justice to Xie Lian’s role ✌️

I never thought i would enjoy a family drama but this story is drawing me in with each episode. ZXW’s acting is really good. Can’t believe he is still a rookie.

every other adaptation is already out and done, so they have no choice but to make some differences in order to keep the viewers interested. also, it seems like they have a tight budget so they're speeding up through most arcs trying to get as much of the novel arcs as possible into these 12 episodes. just hope the changes wouldn't be too different from the novel. but I'm glad they are at least giving more romantic moments of Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian.

especially I love the opening theme of the donghua. It’s been ingrained in my mind so much that I could actually remember the pinyin lyrics for it.

As I said in my first comment, I saw that on Priest’s jjwxc page. There’s some icons indicating that SPL has been adapted to a Donghua, live action, radio drama and so on…
