I think you mean Bi Hong. I have only seen the first episodes where he is a friend of Hou Chi and he seems like a nice person. I will update you when i see more episodes.

Yes, I aggree! Hou Chi Is so earnest and cute! He is confindent in his skill but not afraid to admit defeat even if his loss was by underhanded means. He is genuinely trying to understand things and wants to improve. He is such a sweetheart! 💖

Yes, it's quite annoying, especially when they change the plot to amnesia or whatever else they think of. I think the traveling to a book or a game is also a workaround to this problem.

I also like time-traveling plots. From my understanding, it seems they are more relaxed about censorship in web dramas than those aired on TV. Like the web drama ‘The Eternal Love’ which also had time-travel.
It could also be because these can be considered parallel worlds with supernatural elements and it’s not the traditional historical dramas.
Now if they can give us a satisfying ending without plotholes is to be seen.

I would say our worries are justified if you consider how most of the other similar dramas turn out. But still hope for the best! ^̮^

I was in a mood for something cute to watch and this was perferct for that! This also made me interested to check the upcoming anime.

I want to be optimistic about it. Maybe because I liked the theme and the the first episodes I really want this to turn out to be good.

I couldn't agree more. Also, I like BH and i would have liked to see him being a supportive friend to both of them instead of a love rival or antagonist. That would be refreshing. I just hope that he will manage to resolve his internal feelings (be it the love for SX or jealously of HC which i believe is also caused by his father's behaviour) in a good way.

If he turns evil i will blame the writers not him!
Why can't they allow our ML to keep his friend and they always need to turn one against the other?

I am not a big fan of steampunk but I found it to be fitting in this case. It's not really promiment though. As of now, only her brother Shi Dong uses it. Most of the others use the usual cultivational sklills.

I have also seen up to episode 10 and I really like it so far! Hou Chi and Shi Xia are so cute together!
Also, I found the steampunk elements unique and fun. It's not something you often see in this type of series.

About her brother Shi Dong sometimes I think he is likable, acting like a mischievous kid and sometimes i think he is really annoying.
Even in the frst episode where he started to talk about his sister to trick Hou Chi, I found quite funny and unsual especially when Hou Chi actually fell for his trick.
But then he actually stub him! Did he actually plan to kill him or he knew that this would only hurt him? That was quite villainous from him.
On the other hand Hou Chi has always treated him with respect and even took his words and reflected on them. Hou Chi might be a little naive but he is earnest and really wants to do well.
I would like to see these two come and work together at some point.

I don't think it's machine translated. They don't seem that bad! They weren't very good but I could undertand what was happening. Sometimes they were quick to disapear but it didn't bother me much. It's not a very complicated drama so i think it's ok.

Yes, please let me know if it gets better or at least has a good stopping point! I am waiting for tomorrow's episodes to decide. I don't want to spend a week with a bad taste in my mouth. I also prefer to binge episodes but this seemed cute enough to start as you said.

I haven't seen the latest episodes yet but I was afraid that this would happen at some point but still we are not even half way in the series. I hope it's not that bad and that it's only temporary. I am wondering if I should wait for more episodes to come before continuing. I found it easier to watch these parts if I binge them. Why can't we have a lighthearted funny drama from start to finish? Although, I am ok with some drama and tension as long as it makes sense and it's not overdone.

Every person has diferent things that like and dislike. I think, if it makes you uncoformable it's ok to not continue watchng it.
From my point of view she never saw the ML as a brother and he had never met a woman before so he doesn't even know the meaning and difrerence of 'sister'.
Also, she didn't really dump her brother. They are still close but she has a crush on ML and wants to be by his side.
I don't find that weird since even in real life not many siblings like to be stuck tohether all day and they have their own friends and lovers that want to spend more time with.
And like this we can see the difference in the relationship she has with her real brother and her love interest.
The ML is more touchy feely because he is the love interest and are not meant to actually have brotherly feelings but those of love.
He is just too dense to understand the difference because he is too inexperienced in this area. After all, he lived in seclusion all his life.
But that is just my interpretation of the show. I could be wrong and eveyone has their own thoughts.
