I haven't seen the latest episodes yet but I was afraid that this would happen at some point but still we are not even half way in the series. I hope it's not that bad and that it's only temporary. I am wondering if I should wait for more episodes to come before continuing. I found it easier to watch these parts if I binge them. Why can't we have a lighthearted funny drama from start to finish? Although, I am ok with some drama and tension as long as it makes sense and it's not overdone.

Every person has diferent things that like and dislike. I think, if it makes you uncoformable it's ok to not continue watchng it.
From my point of view she never saw the ML as a brother and he had never met a woman before so he doesn't even know the meaning and difrerence of 'sister'.
Also, she didn't really dump her brother. They are still close but she has a crush on ML and wants to be by his side.
I don't find that weird since even in real life not many siblings like to be stuck tohether all day and they have their own friends and lovers that want to spend more time with.
And like this we can see the difference in the relationship she has with her real brother and her love interest.
The ML is more touchy feely because he is the love interest and are not meant to actually have brotherly feelings but those of love.
He is just too dense to understand the difference because he is too inexperienced in this area. After all, he lived in seclusion all his life.
But that is just my interpretation of the show. I could be wrong and eveyone has their own thoughts.

Can you also add the 'Historical' genre? I have seen other similar series have it and it also helps when searching.

So probably it was by someone who could see the future and like it.

Thank you for the info! I have so many dramas added in plan to watch. At some point i found the synopsis interesting and bookmarked them but then got bored and never started them. One drama that i found really funny was 'Your Highness' from 2017. It's more action, wuxia with some romance with the ML wanting to take the FL as 'cultivating partner' haha. Really silly and not to be taken seriously but still quite enjoyable.

Yes, i also don't like love triangles. For now it doesn't seem to have any. What I am afraid is that it might get darker as we progress which is what usually happens most of the time. I hope it will not get too angsty and that we will get a happy ending!

I would also like to know. Usually the xianxia series i have come across are more serious. Hard to find a more light one. The only that comes in mind is 'My Disciple Died Once Again' from 2018 which was quite low badget a silly. It was hard to find any episodes to watch so i don't really have an opinion for it.
I also have bookmarked 'Dance of the Sky Empire' and 'Dear Herbal Lord' as plan to watch that seem a little more fluffy but i hadn't have the time to check them so i can be wrong about them.

In this case the tag is not completely wrong. He does chase her first to have her a his 'sister'. But it's a little harder to point the time he started to fall for her romantically.
I also suggested the 'Historical' genre to be added but still no change there.

From the first episodes: He is a friend of the ML. He is also friendly with the FL but he doesn't seem to be a SML. I think he might have his own love interest later. It's still a little early to tell though. I just hope he will not turn out to be an antagonist later as he is the only friend the ML has.

The female lead seems a little more aware of her feelings while the male lead confuses his love to be what a brother would feel but it's undertandable because he lived in seclusion all his life so he has no experience in these things.

Yes, i found some parts a little slow but it might have been necessary to develop the characters and the world. Nevertheless, I think it's quite enjoyable.

I think so too. A clue for that is also in the first episode where he uses modern inspired weapons as opposed to the usual cultivator's fighting style.

Not in the first episodes but from the ending song it seems we will have at least one.
