The plot of this one was quite interesting, but unfortunately the ending came up way too short. They could have made the ending much better than this 😕.

It's a happy ending, but they get back together in the final seconds (and just shake hands as if they were meeting for the first time 😑).

Not much happens between the two characters until the last episode (there are a few kisses there). Overall, the older one seems quite wooden and indifferent to the younger one (I guess that's down to the actor himself), so the age difference doesn't really matter imo. I'd say just give it a go and watch a few episodes to see if you like it.

10–11 years (but the younger one seems much more mature when you compare the behaviors 😅)

I also miss Japanese dramas like Taikan Yoho, and I still wonder what happened. I thought they would finally evolve and become bolder, but no, this drama is more of a step backwards 😔

I will always enjoy Japanese BLs, but this one was a bit underwhelming for me

Let me add a few things....

1. the actor of Isumi is amazing, he did a fantastic job, I totally fell in love with this cute guy ❤️
2. everyone should have a friend like Yohei 😌🫶
3. kyosuke's character seemed a bit weird to me. I don't know if it was the actor or how the character was written, but he seemed distant to me. I wish we had gotten to know a bit more about his thoughts. My biggest problem with him was that he didn't show any sexual interest or deeper emotions at all imo.... and that makes me wonder how this relationship is going to work out. It would have been more than nice if it had been 12 eps and the last 3 had been used to show how they build their relationship together 😕

...hmm... 🤔 I like the idea, I mean stepbrother-stepsister love is kind of a classic lol. It makes the plot interesting enough, but I was really annoyed by ML's unreasonable behavior 🙄 in my opinion it would have been better if they stopped it halfway, revealed everything and continued with a teamwork plot, but well.... it is what it is.

Personally, I loved it from the beginning and it will forever be my top xianxia 😉

This drama is one of my new favorites, It's so refreshing, endearing and funny, I love it!

1. the two main characters are together from the beginning and obviously love each other very much, even if there are misunderstandings 😌❤️
2. love the concept of FL buying ML and not the other way around as usual
3. the writers did a great job, they make it funny, sexy and loving at the same time
4. the actors deliver! Both are fantastic 👏 (and aesthetically pleasing 😍) and their chemistry is 🔥🔥🔥
5. i love ML's family 😂❤️

Are you sure it's not on MDL? Because in Xing Gan Chong, the FL is also pretending to be blind. But if there's a 5th version of this plot, I'm excited to see it XD Do you have the link to the version?

Wow, a choice between a manipulative, possessive jerk who belittles you and your father because you're poor, or a lying, cheating coward who blames you for his misfortune. Oh wait, FL is a man magnet, so suddenly there's a #3.

On the other hand, not really believable that FL is in a relationship for 1 year without any intimacy at all.

Also, there is absolutely no reason (for either man) to keep chasing FL (other than possessiveness. One wants to get it on with her, the other just wants her back after seeing her with another man lol)

Ok, just a quick note: So far I've found 4 versions of this particular storyline. I've listed them below. If you liked this version, you should check out the others too! (And don't worry, 3 out of 4 are so different that it's worth watching at least 3 of them)

My personal ranking of the 4 similar dramas:
1. Xing Gan Chong (Very well done plot, actors are excellent! It’s a bit less dark and violent than the others. Especially the hotness is a bit lacking, but that’s ok)
2. Lost in the Midnight (great ML!!! He embodied the “wild dog” very well imo. The storyline was also nice to watch, was hot dark and 🔥)
3. You you lu ming (my 3rd place because the ending was a hilarious mess that wasn't very well thought out. But ML without his shirt was a feast for the eyes lol)
4. Cuo Liao (Feels like the rough version. It's exactly the same plot as Lost in Midnight, but the acting is flat and lacks emotional depth. The production style also seems to be the most basic)

The plot is ok, but the acting is very flat which makes it boring in my opinion.
(Sadly, ML's acting and character aren't exactly exciting either. FL on the other hand seem to be Wonder Woman. She can fight, heal the disabled (as a miracle doctor), play an instrument perfectly, ... she also changes character like it's nothing (good girl vs fighting homeless person or whatever the other side is supposed to be), which is quite annoying and makes no sense at all).
