Finished watching this one. First of all, it's a visually beautiful drama. Beautiful sets, beautiful costumes, beautiful people, .... The characters are also portrayed well. One thing that this drama was lacking though was tension. The things were happening one after the other, but most of it felt flat. I'm not sure exactly why, because I did like the scenes and I liked the main couple. Maybe it was because you can anticipate the ending from the very beginning. This drama is primarily sad, so if you're looking for something fluffy, this is not it. Also, the summary is a little misleading. He didn't really follow her for 1000 years. He just looked at a painting of her for for 1000 years and one day saw her in the mortal world as a Princess. So technically they just met in one lifetime. That's of course as far as my undestanding goes. Maybe I missed something. All in all, I liked it enough to finish 30 episodes. However, I will probably not be rewatching this one.
After a lot of hesitation I decided to give this one a go. I'm currently watching episode 11 and this drama feels rather slow paced even though some major things have already happened.
I'm definitely watching this one. At the very least this couple will be a visual treat. Xu Kai never disappoints in terms of acting or projects he chooses. Hopefully Gulnezer can match him acting wise as well as visually.
Jason koo is the ml here and xiao zhan is the sml.. I know everyone watch the drama for xiao zhan but can u guys…
I'm not too familiar with Jason, but in all honesty his character in this drama is more on a boring and one dimensional side. That's probably the reason why people appreciate Xiao Zhan's character more. He was more interesting. It would have been the same no matter who the actors were.
Finished season 1 and I'm currently watching season 2. I picked this one up after watching The Romance of Tiger and Rose, because I was still in the mood for something cute and light and Zhao Lusi always delivers in that aspect. Added bonus of Xiao Zhan and the attraction of this drama becomes pretty clear. I must say that this drama is very corny. The overly brightly coloured sets and costumes make it look a little childish. However, if you don't take it too seriously, this is definitely a cute and entertaining drama. The fact that it's short also makes it a perfect drama if you're looking to relax with something light to watch. This drama seems to be less about the plot and all about the characters. There are many endearing characters that you end up liking. All in all, it's a fun drama if you know what to expect.
After watching the three seasons of The Eternal Love, I was still in the mood for something cute and light, so I finally watched this one. It has been on my list since it first aired, but I never came around to actually watching it. And I'm so glad I did! This drama is adorable and hilarious and I loved most of the characters. There were some developments that I didn't like, but the misunderstandings didn't drag on too long. Overall it's a very satisfying watch. I definitely recommend it and I will be rewatching this for sure (though I'll probably be skipping Chu Chu's parts, too annoying)
Any drama where his character gets a happy ending? I've watched 3 dramas with him so far and in all of them his character ended up sad and useless and in two of them he died.
Finished watching this one and I loved every minute. Judging by the comments, some people have been unhappy with the plot, but it was exactly what I expected of this series. The Eternal Love series is all about the couple and their romance. It has never really been a series with a complicated plot. For giving me another season of exactly what I was expecting and exactly what I needed, I gave this one a 10. All seasons of this drama have made me laugh and swoon and I adore the main couple. This season was just as romantic and funny as the previous two and sometimes even more so. I'll be rewatching all seasons for sure in the future when I need a drama to lift my mood. Also, I'm here for any more seasons they decide to make.
everyone say "i love this version" but what version are you guys talking bout???i search "You Are My Destiny"…
As far as I know there's a Taiwanese version and a Korean version too. The Korean version is called Fated to Love You and aired in 2014. The Taiwanese version is also called Fated to Love You and aired in 2008. That's probably what everyone is talking about.
