Did you watch the extra episode? With the extra episode it's clear it's a happy ending. I wouldn't have minded it either way, but it was cute to see their life without the pressures that they felt during the drama.

14. We seem to have a similar taste in dramas 😊
15. The plot was definitely well paced. It was visually stunning too and the cast did a great job portraying their characters, even though most of them were definitely too old for their roles and it was really noticeable during the "school" arc. Luckily it stopped mattering after that when they got to the serious storylines.

Good to know. I'm not the most patient when it comes to waiting for episodes to air. I started FOF instead. That should be enough episodes until Blossom finishes airing.

Eternal Love was also the first Xianxia I watched and will obviously forever have a special place in my heart. That's also the reason why I also always check out Yang Mi's dramas, because I really liked her in Eternal Love.

I was really looking forward to this Fox Spirit Matchmaker, but all the bad reviews have kept me from checking it out. I'm still tempted to watch a few episodes myself to form my own opinion though.

13. A drama you found boring
Strong Girl Nam Soon (which I ended up dropping)
14. A remake or an adaptation you watched in 2024
The Legend of Shen Li, Love Game In Eastern Fantasy, Lost You Forever, The Double, ....
15. A 2024 Drama that grew on you with time
Out if all the things I watched, I'd say it was The Double. I ended up really loving it, but it wasn't right from the start like with most of the other dramas I watched this year.
The 62 episode journey is over. I think I may have a bit of a different perception of the second season, given that I watched both seasons at once and it felt more like one long drama rather that 2 seasons.
Admittedly, the second season is indeed not as good as the first one and it's primarily because of the (non-existent) battles and the way Cang Xuan was basically just handed the whole Dahuang instead of actually having to fight for it. Another reason, is because this was clearly built as one long drama and the second season is just a conclusion of everything the characters have worked for and it's at the part where the story slows down.
As a whole, flaws aside, I loved both seasons (although not equally).
Wu Jin Yan is definitely on the list for The Double and Yang Zi in LYF.
17. Best Actor of 2024
Tan Jian Ci in LYF, Ding Yuxi in LGIEF and Hou Minghao in FOF (currently watching)
18. Your most watched genre of 2024
I'll just say costume dramas, seeing as most dramas I watched were Xianxia, Wuxia or historical
