Well, it's true they should have been grateful to both WX and ZYZ, but their sentiments aren't exactly misplaced. Humans have a prejudice against demons and they are hunted and killed even if they are harmless. Understandably, they will be weary of any human.
Moreover, the Baize Goddess is like a guard to their prison. Every time they want to visit the mortal realm, they need permission and they need to be stamped with the token so they can't use their powers or show their true appearance. Obviously, this is necessary, given that some demons are very dangerous, even without meaning to be (like Fei) or really powerful and bloodthirsty. But it's always easier to dislike rules, even if they are put in place for a reason and that dislike manifests into disliking the person enforcing those rules, because it's easy to hate a person rather than an intangible thing.

I thought I missed that so I went back to check and I don't think that's true. Her eyes did glow, but it's not the same. It was just the reflection of the light from the sun dial. Ying Lei's eyes are also shown to reflect the light and glow.
After the Baize token is broken, she's not shown to have used any of her powers not only the ones directly linked to the token's music. Logically, her having powers even without the token doesn't make sense. Especially since if that was the case, there's no need for the token in the first place. Or more precisely, the token wouldn't be as important.
Also, as far as I remember the reason no one was able to help them get out except for her before was because the sun dial was under the power of Cheng Huang. He basically controlled everything including who was allowed in and out. This time around, they were the ones in the possession and control of the sun dial, so they controlled who went in and out.

That seems more sad than anything. Without the token, she can't carry out her duties, because she doesn't have any powers of her own. So she ends up with a longer lifespan, but she's basically useless as a Goddess. That's a painful life.

So are we to assume that even without the token, she retains her longer lifespan? Logically, her longer lifespan is a gift given to the Baize Goddess to help maintain order in the Wilderness. It's given to her by the power of the Baize token. If she no longer has the token/the token is broken, she should no longer have any powers associated with the token right?
Not sure if this is a plot hole or has an actual explanation. I'm on episode 22 now and Wen Xiao went into the sun dial to have the tree grow for 300 years, so they can have a branch to fix the broken Baize token. This is supposedly possible, because time flows differently in the sun dial and 300 years there is merely hours in the real world. Makes sense so far. What doesn't make sense is that the tree can grow, but Wen Xiao doesn't age. She's not immortal, so she's subject to time. If the tree can grow and change, shouldn't she also age and die in those 300 years?
If this is a plot hole, it could have been easily solved by having Ying Lei go instead. 300 years for him wouldn't make much of a physical difference.

While Fateful Love wasn't a great drama, I liked the relationship of the main leads. Han Zi Qing and Jun Bei Yue are both very capable and are both equals in the relationship.
Given the premise of this drama, I was fully prepared for the fact that there will be plenty of sad and emotional scenes. Somehow I was still not prepared for episode 17. I feel like it's a turning point in the drama and more sadness is going to follow.
